Where venus is a crescent now, it will become thinner and thinner each passing day. Trust me, it's venus, and it isn't weird. If you knew how the universe worked, how orbits look like from a body that orbits a point that the other body orbits as well, you would understand. Then why do I see "Venus" at its biggest and brightest (west) from 9.30pm to Midnight??..and NO its not jupiter, saturn or mars or the frikin moon..AND this has been going on for a very long time..I watch it all the time, every night because I can see it laying on my bed looking out my window.  Because of the angle from the earth to the sun. This will get smaller and smaller. This in turn means venus will get lower and lower to the horizon every day, and set sooner and sooner. Till you wont see it at all. give it a week or two. It will get really fast soon. okey dokey..I'll take ya up on that, I'll report back after a week, mabey then as you say, it will finally go away after over a year of it being super bright and big..you know, mabey its because "venus" is going thru some sort of internal changes?, getting hotter?, perhaps getting ready for a skin change? rotation change?..something? |

Even the Orion moved a bit since, but not V. look the same way and you see it, just brighter/closer. Also, it is still at the same location and azimuth where "it" was during the smiley-face conjunction of V, J and moon years ago. What's the trick here? |
