Civil Disobedience, Thoreau, & "Solitary Purdah"
Thoreau once watched through his jail window at the dumbed down people milling about in the market and wondered who was really in jail!...parphrased from "Walden", by Henry David Thoreau

In case you did not cath this, On Henry David Thoreau, who was once thrown in jail for not paying his taxes (Poll tax I believe, and was even threatened at another time for not paying a Church Tax!), and if you have not read his ideas on Civil Disobedience in "Walden", you owe yourself a favor and read it, as appropriate now as any timely and masterful presentation anywhere...

What happened to all the Great Thinkers?...

They are here...They live through each of us if we so allow...and We can become them, and enjoy the Truths they embraced and cherished...

"Discontent is the want of self reliance, It is infirmity of Will"
Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Compensation and Self Reliance"...

All of you supporting writers above are great men, You are Men of Will, You are Self Reliant, You stand for truth, and great men do great things, and I look forward to the great things you and I can do together as we seek the truth where it may be found...thanks, and thank you Henry, Ralph, Walt, and all those good men of reason...Thanks!

SO TRUE!

"Discontent is the want of self-reliance;
It is infirmity of will."

It describes so many of today´s ills.

Makes me want to create a bumper sticker but it might cause too many traffic accidents.

Can´t scratch your head and say "huh?" and talk on the cell phone at the same time!
