Complete Knee Replacement Surgery.... Don't Do it.
So 9 months ago hubby had a complete knee replacement...

It has been a terrible process and recovery.

The doctors will LIE to you..... tell you how fast you will recover.... Don't BELIVE THEM... it is hell.

They basically CUT YOUR LEG OFF.

My Dad had both knees replaced at the same time...he was walking directly after surgery and the key is to do all the exercises and therapy exactly as they tell you without fail and no cheating...he has no pain now and can walk! Before the new knees he had to get around with a walker and then finally a wheelchair.

Try a dairy-free diet (I mean really dairy free, read labels) for a few weeks to see if that helps your inflamation. Also try gluten-free. Many people can completely cure joint inflammation and avoid surgery this way.

Re: Complete Knee Replacement Surgery.... Don't Do it.
My dad just had it done about three months ago, both knees. He's way better off now than he's been during the last 20 years.

The surgery seems to have mixed results though, best to understand the risks. If you don't exercise or do the physical therapy, it can seriously ruin your chances of a successful recovery. It is not an insta-fix as some hope or are lead to believe.

My wife just had it done. She was bone on bone.
Out of bed the next day. Walking with a walker
first 2 weeks. Been 2 months and she's doing
housework.

TRICK:
Get a good surgeon.
DO THE EXERCISES.

She has a friend who had both knees done, by an African
surgeon (from Africa), a butcher,
and she didn't do the exercises right.
It's like night and day.
She has no mobility and still has pain over a year out.

Exercises are painful even WITH percocet,
but you have to keep tearing the scar tissue,
or it will heal in place, and you might as well
have a peg leg.

If you have had a hip replacement there in an ongoing class action lawsuit involving DePuy, the manufacturer of the replacement parts that have been found to be defective. If you've had your hip replaced and the parts were made by DePuy you should look into it. Not sure about any defective knee parts. 1dunno1

If it's bone on bone and no cartilage left then there is no cure other than replacement.
