Fukushima fear mongerer dupes thousands of dollars out of conspiracy nuts.

An american man and his mother have been using Youcaring.com to raise money so they can help his family escape from Chiba prefecture, which he claims is dangerously contaminated with radiation from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power plant asserting that his children are suffering from radiation poisoning.

However, people in Japan questioned his story as Chiba did not suffer serious contamination from the Fukushima accident.
as there are no documented cases of children in Fukushima prefecture suffering from radiation poisoning, it is almost inconceivable that children in Chiba would have radiation poisoning.

Voice of america alarmed by the story contacted the Family for an interview who then immediately dropped the claims and deleted the web page receiving donations.
