I am just wondering... how many of us have done acid?

me too, but I didn't really have the whole 'I taste the Earth thru my feet' experience... I have a cousin who told me she did so much acid, that she has no doubt as to the energy exchange and return we are a part of. I wonder about it sometimes... like, do I need to try it again to make sure I didn't miss anything the first time?

Does it make us more crazy, or more open minded if you expand yourself? Is it really expansion, or introversion?

3 times, 2 good enlightening trips and one terrifying trip. No I'm not a drug addict. I'm a 20 year old kid, what do you expect lol

I did once, about 14 years ago. I dont regret it, but I dont think I will ever do it again. We went camping during the summer. The sky turned deep purple and the stars danced. The lightening bugs were beautiful with long streamers flashing every time they lit up..:)

Don't say that word around me. It make want to start melting into the walls just thinking about it.

At least 50 times here. Most were good trips, but I had one where I thought the world was ending and I was at war with demons, one of which happened to be my ex girlfriend.
I wanted to actually kill her.

Which is a good reason not to start an argument with somebody when they are on like 6 hits of acid. A simple argument can become a full on war in the head of a tripping person.

i should also ask, why enlightening?

Its like, every time I tried it... nothing major either way. Friends have said I must have not had 'good acid' ... although I feel I have had experiences on my own that formed me...I wonder at things...especially natural ones, for example, morning glory or datura... and find myself afraid yet wanting to experience what countless humans experienced for time unknown.

Me too, once about that long ago. Freaked me right out, was at a Keg restaurant and ordered Lobster, thought the lobster was going to eat me!!!! That was enough.

ok i know not funny, except this is my fear. What if I have the feared 'bad trip'

never happened yet... but how do you know? better to be alone? with ppl you trust? I am female so I could probably be subdued but at same time, do I want my constant partner there to influence my travel? and yet, who else do you trust that much? I thought about doing at Wisconsin Point at Lake Superior on my own, and just letting things unfold. Morning Glory.. but, just hoping you all have more experiences to share. Feel free to share what exactly entails a bad trip.. or a good one... enlightening one...does it lift veils or create illusion... what is general opinion.

OMG i can't imagine eating while on acid ! Especially lobster !

i only did it a few times (70's)
the first time, i was tying my shoes and all of a sudden the shoelace came
alive in my hand. the weird part was, my then-boyfriend looked at me and
said, 'see what i mean ?' (about how acid affects your perceptions). i hadn't
said a word about the shoelace, but somehow he knew exactly what i was
perceiving, it was definitely a 'shared mind' moment.

Someone I know did a whole bunch in the late 90's... Sometimes good pure liquid from a vial or few drops on a sugar cube, sometimes windowpane which is like hard gelatin that slowly dissolves, sometimes various paper techniques.

That person occasionally had extremely intense trips. The person swears that, when combined with proper thought, meditation, and spiritual direction, you may find true evidence of god.

Really, he says, you must have access to enough of it to develop a skill at controlling your mind during a trip. Many, he thinks, don't have the willpower or mental capacity to undergo a spiritual process facilitated by LSD.

He also told me that mescaline provides an angelic experience. He claims that the trip is similar to LSD, but with extreme euphoria and prolonged visions. However, he says that much of the divine thought you'd have on acid is exchange for awe on mescaline.

thats what I'm thinking about! like, the shared experience...one time a few friends and I were 'trippin' on cough syrup... but we all saw a hobo who seemed to be right there with us he was saying 'happy new year' and I also ran into my brother thru a crowd of people after a hockey game...was just so random and weird... but DM so unnatural I think, yet...we all shared the same totaly crazy night...after we stopped itching... I also read other posts, and not to repost over and over, but is mescaline same as peyote? and damn I wish I knew if I was completely irresponsible for wanting to continue to explore this option or if it is good to explore and see what you find. and sorry but so interesting to hear all of your experiences..lobster...shoelaces... very intriguing... :)

The only LSD i have tried is the blotter kind... and it was.. not half as intense as dextromethorphan... or however you spell that... but ... how do you even know you have real acid?I guess that is why I tend toward the morning glory etc. options... but OK I also am a big fan of Clan of the Cave Bear and all other in series... and Datura is what they used to travel in the spirit realm..but everything I read about Datura is that is will kill you or possibly kill you... anything abt that, I am much curious. thanks ppl!

what are jimension seeds? and wow, I dont know how or why, but I hve never seen a shroom in my life. Heard of it, everyone I know has done it, but ... lol... wahh big baby here. :p

Dummy me, I tried shrooms once as well, was at a party and every one there turned into the Flintstones, Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty, bones in their hair and everything. What a crazy experience.

the natives called them loco weed and shot their horses if they ate them usually grow in cow pastures and when ready to harvest they will be black and thorns will be on the bulb break it open and retrieve seeds but i wouldnt reccomend this as it was the most intense trip of my life

but why? hahah OK I feel like I am in school now, but please, paint me a picture... if you can, I totally get it if its some kind of personal experience you cant share...but I would love to hear details... paint a picture if you can... what did it feel like? what did it smell like? what did it taste like? what did it sound like? anything... I am sure I am not only one who wants to know. We wouldn't be here at this site if we weren't curious by nature and searching for more. Thanks for writing at all, but I just hope to learn from you guys. Maybe we all learn something from eachother.

I also once swore a friend of mine was in the bottom of my drink, and she was chastising me... lol... not sure the spiritual significance...but was still kinda cool in retro. did it stop you from doing it again?

lol ... I loved the 80's too.. but I was born in 74 and just never really moved in the crowd that did it I guess. I went to a 'rainbow' festival once in 89, but I was 15 and although there was peyote there I didn't try it.. I went home at 8. lol. lame.
