Don't worry, we still have 10 month to look at your timeline if this does not pan out. That's the joy of Rapture watching.

People misunderstand, we watch to be ready "if" it does happen, if it does not, we look for the next date it may happen.

You don't suppose God had this very thing in mind when keeping the date from us, do you?

Makes it easier "to separate the wheat from the chaff". (Matthew 3)

Otherwise we could all feel safe in sinning until the night before God told us He'd be coming and the sinners would all have time to repent- which is why I don't understand the Catholic church's idea of redemption.

By "be ready" I believe he means to practice Christianity every moment of every day- not just when it benefits us.

And yes Russ, I know it's not really Pentecost today (I'm starting to understand your bible) but it's getting to be my favorite Christian celebration and so I'll go celebrate with the others.

In 2008 when I was still in Vegas our pastor spoke the most inspiring message on Pentecost weekend that we actually baptized over 3,000 that after the services!

More than Peter did on actual Pentecost!

And for anyone whose heart suddenly softens today and you WANT to begin a new life with Christ by your side (which begins with a pledge of oath and a baptism) let me know and I'll post instructions here on how a loved one can help you.

The bible does not say you must be an ordained person to baptize another. Only that the other is a baptized, believer of Christ.

There is only your desire to be baptized an re-dedicate your priorities in life so that pleasing Christ comes first.

Again I will give instructions if anyone is interested.

I would strongly urge adult Catholics to renew their baby Christenings. At THIS age you truly KNOW what you're doing.

Oh well, I apologize about posting that church service for today. I guess since Pentecost fell on Memorial Day weekend this year, Jud is dedicating this service to our soldiers and is preaching the final of his 5 part series on "Can't get no Satisfaction". This one is about your employment.

I'm still celebrating Pentecost today, even though it was actually Thursday (40 days after Easter and 10 days after Ascension).
