A question to America: If you are a constitutionalist are you an extremist or a real American? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 12790821 United States 05/18/2012 11:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's not an honest question. The phrasing suggests an answer before one can be given. You assume that all "constitutionalists" are correctly interpreting the Constitution, which the vast majority of so-called "constitutionalists" only interpret the Constitution insofar as to justify their own selfish individualism. Most of the people who decry my country to have fallen "from it's true and original intended path" are themselves of the lowest calibre of extremism. Many of the people who try and say that my country has fallen from it's original Constitutional aims are themselves Canadian....a country not governed by our Constitution and the residents of which cannot be expected to understand it's nuances (but whom think they are Constitutional scholars). You're Canadian. Stop trying to cause political instability in your neighbour. It's rude to say the least. You, yourself, I would describe as an extremist and probably one influenced by sovereign citizen/freemen ideology as much of it comes from Canada these days. I am a combat veteran, and I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemeies foreign and domestic. You're assuming (incorrectly) that anyone who "says" they are a "Constitutionalist" is an heroic American patriot of the highest calibre. The truth is...most of the people calling themselves "Constitutionalists" are barely literate right-wing douchebags who believe that the Constitution gives them the right to run roughshod over anyone they don't personally like. Why don't you spend your time more productively...for instance, you could be spending your time trying to figure out how to improve the CANADIAN system of government than trying to figure out who is an AMERICAN patriot of extremist. |
