I think if someone truly knows Jesus, they couldn't become an ex-Christian. I think it says that in the Bible. JMO. I am sorry you got burned bad enough to walk away. God does not like some "Christian" making you feel that way, and they will answer for that.

They say the same thing about Catholics and Mormons. I'm glad I'm not a part of any of that anymore.

I believe that and so do the official Nazorean and Essene websites. They say that he was their founder. Scholars say that the Nazoreans were the proto-Christians.

I can understand you're glad you're not a part of a particular church anymore. As in what they preach. I don't believe in the institution myself. But being a Christian is much more than that, if not quite different. You should have tried to understand only Christ's teaching and stick to the 10 commandments. All the rest are man made ( some good though).
And remember: nobody forbid you to test them all, but you should keep only what is good.

Now up to you. I just hope that indeed all the ways lead to God.

Footnote: Unless of course it's another tribe or country and I say that's OK then you're to slaughter every last person and all their animals . . . or maybe just the men and take the women and children for your sex slaves . . . or unless it's your own children who are disobedient, you can stone them to death . . .
