When that flesh-eating drug "krokodil" started to spread here there were rumors that the whole thing is our or foreign government experimenting with some new biological weapon: the way it appeared out of nowhere in one particular little town and the way it was combined with severe tissue damage was indeed quite suspicious.
I mean, drug addicts used to go high on desomorphine for decade all over Russia and they had health problems ofc but it had never caused such a heavy health hazard in such an epidemic scale before "krokodil", just a food for thought.

Again, authorities don't seem to be alarmed as they should do. Come on, it is unknown flesh-eating bacteria, they should put Georgia and Carolina in some kind of quarantine at least!
