the next terrorist attack is seconds away in private homes. It's called DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Real victims that live in real houses being terrorised by real terrorists.

Thinking the Hoover Dam breaking subliminal has already happened.
It alluded to J Edgar Hoover who was the one who started all the secret FBI files on everyone.
Snowden & Wikileaks etc releasing all the government secrets was the
breaking of the dam and its ongoing.

reinforced concrete only has a life of around 50 years . the steel rusts and breaks down the concrete . the dam has cracks and is in bad shape .
interesting that roman concrete (see coliseum) lasts hundreds of years but no construction uses the same ingredients today .

This is true, We have 2 male friends who were married to totally frightening, violent women. One guy finally left when she stabbed him in the back. I would have left a lot sooner than that, she beat him with skillets and anything else handy. The other man's wife wielded an axe.

I mean these women were murderous. I don't know how they put up with it for as long as they did.

I've never heard of anyplace that was for men victims of domestic violence.

They might be able to blow out a turbine on two ... but all that would do would be to increase the water flow THROUGH the dam, not to make it fail.

The mass of the dam and how it was built makes it nearly impossible to destroy without the use of a small nuke. Not totally impossible, but almost impossible.

There are MANY SOFTER and EASIER targets that could be hit that would cause as much, or more, long term damage ... say a nuclear power plant attack that caused a Fukushima style meltdown with ongoing problems that would last for DECADES, maybe even hundreds of years.

I wouldn't worry about the Hoover Dam. Even minimal security should keep it relatively secure.
