From a conceptual view, this is accurate. From an objective place, this cannot be possible unless we are literally an ingredient of our surroundings...our 4th dimensional (as you say) aspect.

3rd dimension does not 'appear' linear, it is our minds that are processing everything sequentially. Sequence creates linear time (chronological, as memory, for the most part, works sequentially).

Within the 4th dimension there can be a perception of time, dependent on the level of focus of the consciousness. We can imagine the gradient field enclosing the center of the sphere, as being awareness that is getter closer to full awareness of '4th' dimension. It is awareness of perception and conscious self that begins having a higher level of awareness as it is focused more fully towards the center. There is no...I am having difficulty describing the image in my mind... The focus of consciousness is wrapped around the center, the gradient being most closer to true reality the closer the torus like focus squeezes towards center. The closer to center the focus can attain, the more accurate the awareness is of discernment, by removal of the bias/beliefs that make up the outer gradient sphere.

Eventually, you begin noticing, the closer your focus comes to center, that even material perception is based on bias/belief that is generated by the mind from the 5 sensory inputs.
