United States 05/28/2012 01:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | GOP still manipulating vote to exclude Ron Paul supporters The Massachusetts Republican Party is trying to invalidate ballots that would result in Ron Paul winning delegates. This is typical of the apparatchiks in the GOP, so I'm sure there are few surprised, but I want to make sure everybody is informed: The move, some say, could oust Paul backers and send more Romney representatives to the GOP nominating convention in Tampa in August. It has infuriated rank-and-file Republicans who accuse establishment insiders of bending the rules to their own benefit.
“Just because you didn’t like the outcome of an election doesn’t mean you overturn it because you have the power to,’’ said a state committeeman, Stephen Zykofsky.
Much of the ire is directed at a challenge in the Fifth Congressional District - where Romney lives and where all six of his selected delegates and alternates lost. A member of Romney’s slate contends the results should be thrown out because the caucus chairman failed to get all the participants to sign in.

United States 05/28/2012 05:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: GOP still manipulating vote to exclude Ron Paul supporters [ link to www.theprotestantview.com] They already pushed back the Texas primary from april 3 to May 29th. Do you think that favored Romney or Ron Paul (most candidiates win their home state) What would have happened if the media had to report back in April that ROn Paul was actually leading the race? Would that help his support? Give him more publicity? Mitt Romney had no chance of winning if they didn't move the Texas primary back. That gave Mitt Romney a chance to pick up a few more little states. That way the LIBERAL media can gloat that ROmney is winning. But if that primary doesn't get pushed back, how do you think it affects the race? I expose plenty more on my site |
