This is an interview appeared in Romanian media. Who is Giuliano di Bernardo? Giuliano Di Bernardo is Professor of Philosophy of Science at the University of Trento, in Italy. From 1990 to 1993 was Grand Master of Grand Orient of Italy, and from 1993 to 2002 Grand Master of the Regular Grand Lodge of Italy.

Your book "Human knowledge. From Physics to sociology and religion" is based on the idea that humanity is in danger and it lives to an end. Why do you think that?
The humanity is moving towards a self-destruction.
Democracy as a form of government, is good in theory, but as it looks now, is close to anarchy. You can see that everywhere.
What is your solution to this deadlock?
It's only one and is present in this book: the emergence of an enlightened global tyrant. We are moving to a global governance and democracy is a form that can't support the arrival of such a tyrant. Since ancient times, humanity has been supported by esoteric societies and these societies can help to govern wisely the coming tyrant. We need something stronger than it was before, for a man to lead not only by reason, as was done in the past, but by wisdom.
What personality from our world has all the qualities to become, as you say, the future enlightened tyrant?
None from present. Now we are in full democracy, which has degenerated into anarchy. And the anarchy will determine illuminati conditions for the arrival tyrant. It is a process that will end in the near future.
And how will be elected this tyrant?
With wisdom, by a community of people. They can be from the Order of the Illuminati or from other esoteric circles. This expression, the Illuminati tyrant light is launched by the Illuminati community that existed in the past, there is now and it will exist in the future. They will propose this tyrant who will be illuminated.
