Parents should steer kids away from rap that pushes the pimpin life style. There are lots of positive rappers out there to provide balance. I'm not a rap fan but I appreciate the artists that go against the grain of demoralizing our society. |

I'm not a rap fan but I appreciate the artists that go against the grain of demoralizing our society. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5511984 The corruption of our society by rap music has been going on for a couple generations now. Many parents think rap is fine since they grew up with it. Our society becomes worse and worse as rap popularity skyrockets. Pastor Manning and Brandt Morain discuss this issue in the interview. They are exactly correct. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 13056062 United States 06/03/2012 09:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's entirely a personal opinion, do you actually have a point to make ? It's not an opinion it's a provable fact. In fact, I'll prove it to you now. Truly good musical talent requires several things: 1. Ability to play an instrument or sing. 2. This ability requires precision execution in terms of intonation, meter and tempo. If you master these things, which take years of study and practice, then you can call yourself a talented musician. Rap eliminates all these requirements thus allowing any hack to call himself a recording artist. Rap music requires no ability to play an instrument. Rap requires no ability to play with proper intonation. Rap requires no ability to play with precise tempo or meter. Rap requires no ability to sing. Like Brandt Morain's song says, "I could've spent my money on some lessons and learned, to play real music like the pro's that I've heard. But that's too hard so I got a drum machine and I paid a producer to punch the right keys" Yeah but what if it's a turntable??? |

Don't like it don't listen. Period. I do agree that alll main stream "rap" is a bunch of demonic conditioning anyway.but so is a lot of other genres as well. That why I listen to underground hip hop. Lowkey, logic, immortal technique, shai linne, Steven the levite, eshon burgundy, Timothy brindle, S.O., vendetta kings, hazakim, diabolic, etc.... Pastor manning and his lemmings better check the fruit. I become all things for alll men for the sake of saving some. Please for a fair shake, look up shai linne, hazakim, believin Stephen, Stephen the levite, eshon burgundy, r swift, God's servant, S.O., bizzle, Lavoisier, sevin, sevensandman, Timothy brindle, L418 gospel rap, evangel, christcentric, secta 7, etc... But then again those listed are not considered "rap" acts. |
