When a thread goes off topic and offers no relevant information back into the thread topic, then it is dead.

Of course, this is all opinion, so it doesn't really matter that you think you are correct, or if I think I am correct.

Personally, I think your argument is lame. If threads only consist of nonsense and a person posting absolute non-relevance into every reply, then you would say they are alive. And I would say they are dead.
