There was also a thread a week or two ago about 'booms' in another part of the country and these 2 trees being destroyed/damaged from the event.... I wonder if someone can dig it up....

Now that the 'booms' and tree damage has been tied to this story, it certainly changes things in my eyes because we know the booming phenomena has been persistent in other parts of the country for the last several months.
