I have a road rage story, and actually - yes, it was in Dandenong. I was driving along the Princess Highway when I realized I needed to change 3 lanes to get to the other side to make a turn. It was also extremely busy. I did what I had to do, and I slightly cut someone off. The lady in the other car beeped her horn at me for what I thought was an excessively long period of time. In retaliation (I thought a short beep would have been permissable), I started braking and put my hand on the horn AND KEPT IT THERE - Probably for about three to four times as long as what she did (heheh). When she finally overtook me, she was looking straight ahead and looked petrified. The uptake to all this, is when I went to change over the remaining two lanes the entire peak hour traffic had cleared and no one was coming anywhere near me. I was able to complete my lane changes easily and without further ado. :)

Sounds like the one guy was really mad because he was givin the middle finger. I think that is what set him off. I remember someone gave me the middle finger once and all I did was blow a kiss at him, although I thought to myself(boy that was gay) lol
