Doogfar User ID: 16002060 Australia 06/18/2012 11:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Key problem with immortality is that you would need to live life like an egg. You are issued with one body and sooner or later you will have some kind of accident. Besides, I'm in my 50's and already getting sick of living I'd hate to imagine what it would be like after 100 years or even a thousand. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1492295 United States 06/18/2012 11:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yes but how long is a 1000 years to God? could be a day, could be 100, could be 100000. An All knowing all powerful God, may not measure time as we do... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17182329 Any hoot. have lots of children and live through them. The body is flesh but the soul is forever. Well I hear ya...but I am not speaking about god. I am not speaking about the soul. I know this... talking about real life immortality... |

I don't think we are meant to live forever... |

KnightsTemplar.TV User ID: 15777966 United States 06/18/2012 11:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You have to have the rite DNA first and then second, you need to use your DNA to become a co-creator with the Lord by dying on the cross in order to serve humanity lovingly and unselfishly. We immortals choose to come back to incarnate to help man kind evolve because we are considered Sons of God who serve the light with our swords and sworn to avenge and protect that we KNOW is our duty without question. If you are the above, you may be immortal. PS - Oh and if you have the mark of cain, this is a sign as well. Well this then takes a step in a diff conversation.. our "soul".. likely does live FOREVER.. after all.. someone smart once said..something like.... energy doesnt die... then when you start down the line of consciousness.. and quantum machanics.. and diff dimensions... well this conv takes a step in a diff direction.. goes way beyond "fresh food".. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 17556494 United States 06/18/2012 11:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | for the physical vessel there is no true immortality, only quasi-immortality (reaching several hundred or thousands of years in earthly age...) the higher self lives and reigns in eternity with its own seat of solace in the matrix of godhead, the key is realizing and consecrating it by usurping the illusions of duality. |
Doogfar User ID: 16002060 Australia 06/18/2012 11:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Although, being "immortal" and being free of this dinky little planet might be more interesting. You would need to be able to take on different forms and be able to travel instantaneously to other parts of the universe. But my gut tells me, sentient life will evolve only in so many combinations and sooner or later you'd get sick of that as well. Guess thats why "god" created man, he got bored and then eventually pissed of elsewhere in the universe to do other things. You'd have a constant challenge of keeping things fresh...even to the point of "being a divine being", wiping your memory and playing the virtual game called planet earth. |

PS - Oh and if you have the mark of cain, this is a sign as well. oh yeah...right DNA... then dying on the cross...you mean suffering... so you think you are an immortal from your post...only through reincarnation...I can see where you are coming from but I am not talking about reincarnation...I was talking about actual immortality. I am big on unless you are actually something don't say it lol and also didn't know there were such guidelines for it... Only the foolish think they are immortal... I understand you think it has to do with dna...but I think that's bullshit...sorry. Everyone has a different explantion it seems... |

Fatstogie User ID: 17841233 United States 06/19/2012 12:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So how exactly do you become immortal? Quoting: ~Angels~ I have read on here before only eat fresh food...makes sense to a point...but still I'm not convinced. Our bodies die...we age. You cannot stop that completly...where is the proof for immortality? Some on here claim to be immortal. I think this is sick thinking. You will die...it's the circle of life... Well if reincarnation is true then so is immortality. Your still trying to define what death is via your limited perception. Your body dies.... ok... your body is not you. Merely your vessel. You is a program that can be loaded into another vessel. Higher beings can reincarnate at will though. Youd find the 2 levels. That there are beings who live for extremely long periods, then can consciously change bodies and maintain memory. The body is merely matter. Matter is created and controlled by consciousness. If you view material death as true death then youll stay thinking you have a firm grasp on everything. But its still a delusion. |

KnightsTemplar.TV User ID: 15777966 United States 06/19/2012 12:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well...you have half the story at least... Which is your weakness. And 'They' all know it. lol, like I know I AM not of the daughters of men as well. Hence, Moses who was courageous as a lion whose face shined of the sun marries the daughter of a Cushite Queen changing our DNA and tribe to the Ethiopians. Hence when the Israelites made the covenant of the ark with the daughters of men. Regards, Moe [link to GnosticWarrior.com] THERE IS A WAR FOR YOUR SOUL!
