for my cat who puked all the time.
I had tried all manner of foods. It had not dawned on me at all it was the corn.

I know corn is bad for anyone. I just never checked to see if it was in her cat food.

So I switched to a grain free food and she does not puke anymore.

She seems in a more agreeable mood as well.

I wanted to pass this along for those who have cats with stomach issues that is not hairballs.

Re: for my cat who puked all the time.
My cat has "sharting" issues and diarrhea all the time. I tried grain free, prescription, natural, home cooked. The only thing that helped him is feeding a RAW diet of raw chicken and chicken livers with bone meal. I dont feed raw all the time, one week a month. If I don't, his digestive issues come back. Cats need raw in their diet. Raw meat has enzymes that cats need.
Taste of The Wild has a grain free formula for the poster who was asking. My cats hated it though.

Don´t forget about worms, for example a roundworm, they also can make a cat puke and btw. "steal" nutrients from the cat, housecats don´t get them as easily as outdoor cats, but that does not mean they can´t get them.

My mom has one that pukes all the time. I'll have to tell her to try this. It was only cat food too she'd throw up, lol.

My dog used to throw up a lot but that was because he would drink too much water. Now I have to consciously monitor how much he is drinking and yell at him to stop because he will just drink until he throws up, lol. Pets can be challenging at times but they are great anyway!

I had a few dogs that did the same thing. I would have to limit the water too. some would drink from the hose and that was hard to try to cut it off in time.

Re: for my cat who puked all the time.
OP - glad it helped your cat but Purina isn't all that healthy. Do some research and you'll find that all pet food produced by the large manufacturers is not that healthy.

Here is a resource that lists the best food for cats: [link to www.naturalcatcareblog.com]

Pet Food Ingredients Revealed by NaturalNews.com: [link to www.naturalnews.com]

We should not be feeding our cats dry food. Grain free is a good start but organic raw food is the best way to go and it needs to include organ meats.

Had the same puking problem with my cat. Changing her diet also resolved her itchy skin problems. Am now feeding her PawNatuRaw: [link to www.pawnaturaw.com] mixed with a little canned organic grain-free like Nature Organics and Tiki Cat (buy 3 get 1 free at PetFoodExpress)

We should not be feeding our cats or dogs dry food - raw is the way to go and it needs to include organ meats.

Raw chicken necks to chew on will help clean cats teeth, not dry food as we've been told.

We are also over-vaccinating our pets which is causing many of their diseases combined with poor diets. I don't trust my bet anymore to know what's best for my pets when it comes to diet, nutrition and vaccines.
