I've been having terrible dreams.

Nothing important. Just horrible things happening to my 7 year old son.

Last night I dreamt he fell off a pier, I jumped in to get him and when I pulled him out he was lifeless. I was trying to deal with him and my 4 year old daughter kept running away, and nearly boarded a ship nearby. No one would help me, or ring for an ambulance.

It's the second time I've had this dream. I hate it.

I have weird dreams too, but I am sure that this is caused by my current psychological state. I've lost my job and I feel uncertainty my future

Try watching "the fourth kind" before sleeping. That movie kept me from sleeping right for weeks. Uggg!

this morning just before I woke up, I dreamed that I was on a mission to paint clouds. Every sort of cloud. Especially strange clouds that didn't make meteorological sense. But I STILL have the urgency to paint or draw them, so wth, I might as well get started...

The other night I dreamed of a gigantic cloud hovering over a city and it had tentacles coming down from it. It was big and white at the top with the usual darker base on the bottom. It wasn't really a 'cloud' and I knew it.

Had a night terror. I did wake up earlier but I couldn't move, felt like I was in sleep paralysis, but as I was sitting there I kept thinking a ghost was in my room, I actually saw in a slight black and white figure to my side, looked like the girl off of the movie "The Ring", I kept waking up and going back to the nightmare, most uncomfortable feeling ever, couldn't tell my dream from reality, then in my nightmare I got up and went to the bathroom but figured out there was a girl in there covered in a bath of blood in the bathtub, she screamed, I jumped hardcore out of that nightmare, I felt like I was screaming as I was waking up though. It was terrible.

I'm having dreams about prepping for different disaster scenarios. Very atypical dreams for me. I'm not a doom and gloomer.

Yes. Been having VERY intense, vivid dreams. Some nightmares, but mostly just weirdness. And I wake up out of it, and my heas takes quite awhile to clear.

I have been having such odd dreams, either that someone is trying to kill me, or me wandering through landscapes I've never seen before, very surreal, one with pink skies

Some of them look like endless rolling fields and a few lonely roads. In all of these field dreams there's a stark absence of people

One was by what looked like a huge body of water. There was a scientific outpost I was spending time at...and there were about 10 of these outputs like a chain around the shores. The landscape seemed quite temperate and warm

Then I saw a map on the wall, and the place we were at was Hudson Bay, except it was as warm as South Carolina

Just weird stuff like that, but as for years now I've slept pretty soundly. I think we all pick up tension under the surface, so checking to see what other people are dreaming about

On topic: I had a totally fucked up series of dreams this last week.

Holy fuck, I tried to type it out and it sounded so crazy I decided not to write it.

Let's just say that in my dream, the US did not fare so well against Iran. Sharia law was enforced. It was mental.

I don't have dreams that involve world events of this nature. Period. I have dreams about all sorts of mythical and made up stuff, and dreams about ordinary stuff, but nothing like this.

I had a doozy last night, and haven't been dreaming much overall but last night's dream was definitely the kind that makes you wake up fast.

Interesting. The way you describe the landscape kind of reminds me of the movie "The Road".

For about the past 6 months, I've been having really vivid dreams. Sometimes I'm more tired after I wake up than I was before I went to sleep. Most are uneventful - everyday type of stuff. Except that I'm not me, or at least I'm not me in the life I'm currently living. It's literally as if I'm experiencing a different reality with different people and in different places. Yet, those people and places never feel foreign; I feel quite at home in those alternate realities. Those dreams are not disturbing.

The dreams I've had this week are another matter. A couple of nights ago, I had this dream where I was at a complex - similar to a universit campus or an airport. There was a HUGE earthquake (I've never actually been in a quake) - this quake was so big that the ground buckled upward, walls crashed down, windows smashed, tons of death and damage. I and some other survivors milled around trying to help the injured, secure supplies, etc. After a while, and without warning, zombie-like people started wandering in and attacking people, killing them. They were not zombies like in the movies - not reanimated dead or anything - just people who acted like zombies. I had the impression that their behaviour was from a release at a bio-lab than from supernatural causes, if that makes sense. I woke up in the dream.

I woke up to the same scene as before the quake (it was a dream within a dream thing). At the same place, same people, etc. but the quake had not happened yet. I gathered everyone who would listen to my warnings and began directing them to gather food from the cafeteria, water, medical supplies, and seeds from the botany department(?). I directed them to bring the supplies to a part of the building that I knew had not been effected by the quake (it was about 3 stories up in another building).

As we were transporting everything, the quake happened. We grabbed a few last supplies and the survivors we could find and blockaded ourselves on that third floor. We watched out the window, and there was total chaos and destruction in the streets below. One survivor was able to climb up to the window and in to safety - we welcomes and assisted the person.

Then, off in the distance, across a vast green field, I saw people coming. But they didn't walk like regular people - they were doing the shuffley zombie walk. They got closer, and I knew what was going to happen next, but I was extremely calm - just an observer of events I could not (at that point) change, watching from relative safety with my supplies on the third floor. One zombie even climbed up to the third floor and tried to get in the window, but we pushed him off and onto the ground below as if he were nothing more than a nuisance - like swatting a fly.

Strangely, it was not a scary dream at all.

The other two dreams I had were also about preparing for events. In one there was a nuke event, or something that was causing fire in the sky in the distance. I had fled to Montana with my kids and met up with my ex-husband and his wife, who were already there.

The other had a general prepping theme, but I can't remember the details, as I got woken up abruptly and only remember thinking to myself, "that was another prep dream".

Now before anyone smart-asses off about "lay off the GLP" - I've come to this place for 6 years on and off, and never had doom or prep dreams as a result. In fact, I've hardly been here at all lately - too busy with other stuff.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. I just felt like I had to type all of that out for some reason...

last few nights. Very vivid dreams. Last one my family was headed to an apt to get our preps. It was our apt but we wernt staying there. City dad lots black and hispanic. Things were bout to go down. People in a panic. Lots walking few cars cept military and fema type. Power was spotty. Lots fires burning. Another dream was taken to earthlike world and the land came down from the sky and delivered earth specimins animal. Insect. Plant etc and placed it directly on our new earth. Lots earth people were here delivered in the spirit.and our bodies changed when we got there such a beautiful world and it was a physical world too

Ok, so here it goes:

The first thing I noticed in the dream was that I was wearing a head scarf and a robe, not the full head to toe burka, but close. I was in line to petition for a new husband, because what had happened was this:
Iran had sent over like ALL of their people. They just invaded and took over and all of a sudden they led a revolution and in about 48 hours it was over. Only the US didn't win, they lost. Why? Cuz Obama gave them the country lock stock and barrel. He declared that Sharia law was in effect immediately and a bloodbath started.

So..now in the dream, if you had been married it did not count. Women's rights were 100% gone and we were no better than walking, talking cattle. If some dude wanted you for a wife, it was HIS choice. He could kill your husband and take you for his with zero repercussions. So ladies were auditioning for husbands and that is what I was in line to do, but I wanted to win a powerful mate because I was going to lead a very powerful revolution. I was going to lead a revolution solely of women and we were going to do to those Arabs what they had done to us: Slaughter the fuck out of them in the dead of night. I was jerked out of line before I ever got to audition.

That is when I met the Head Honcho.

He was an alien. I do not mean the illegal kind, I mean E-fucking-T. I was floored. I nearly fainted.

Fuck me running. A living, breathing extraterrestrial.

He stared at me across his desk in the top floor of the building where I was to audition for a husband and he told me he knew about our revolution. He told me that there was no point in any more killing, because he had orchestrated the entire take-over. He said the slaves had "gotten out of hand" and he had to re-enforce Sharia law because he was tired of dealing with the humans as if they were people, he wanted them all to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were slaves.


I know this is straight GLP beamed into my head.

I didn't click anything remotely like this that night, however.
