I've followed your forecasts every time you've posted here, and have been here longer than most. You are almost always accurate; however, there have been a few times when you might have exaggerated the outcome of a given system here and there...But then, this is GLP where EVERYTHING is exaggerated!

That said, I've enjoyed your insight, and wish you would ignore the idiots that try to give you grief. Keep posting, and let us know whenever you have anything important to relay.

Also, given that I am taking my family to the panhandle in the next few days, I also knew that this piece of shit was going to hit exactly where we have a house rented. It's just the way it works for us...so I believe your model is entirely accurate.

Let me know how long this thing is going to last though - we might be able to salvage at least part of the vacation.

Going to last a few days. Florida is having tornadoes in the Peninsula and I do fear this will continue passed the SPC Tornado Watch expiration time so we should see it extend.

Also my temp is 99.0 down from 101.0F so it's going away, hopefully.

DO BELIEVE THE STORM BANDS WILL CONTINUE NORTHWARD INTO THE WATCH BOX, WITH CONTINUED SHEAR/INSTABILITY PROFILES REMAINING TO PRODUCE TORNADOES IN THE AREA.

ALTHOUGH THE INSTABILITY IS FAR WEAKER THAN EARLIER, DO FEEL ENOUGH OF IT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO WARRANT A FULL BOX, ESPECIALLY SINCE DEBBY WILL CONTINUE TO PUMP TROPICAL MOISTURE THROUGH THE AREA.

THE SOUTHEAST FLOW IN THE LOW LEVELS WILL WORK WITH A SOUTHWEST FLOW IN THE MID/UPPER LEVELS TO PRODUCE THE SHEAR AND THIS DOES INCLUDE THE JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA AREAS ...

Fail. Had you been following that thread since Thursday, you would know that was not the original thread title. Paid members can change thread titles, and it has been changed numerous times to adapt to the various forecasts.

Kevin did, indeed, make the call before any, and I mean ANY, forecasters stuck their neck out to make any predictions at all.
