It's easier to appreciate a black dot on a white piece of paper than it is to appreciate a black dot on a black piece of paper.

Why?

Because you perceive it better BECAUSE of the contrast.

Seeing a dualistic environment as a prison is just another choice...it wasn't invented by humans trying to put other humans in bondage.

I certainly think there are people who use it for that purpose but like anyone...there's a choice involved there.
