Missing millionaire's wife wants to sell their mansion and yacht two weeks after his mysterious disappearance at sea

The wife of missing Florida millionaire Guma Aguiar has filed a motion requesting permission to sell the couple's mansion and yacht for $7.1 million.

Jamie Aguiar, the mother of Guma Aguiar's four children wants to sell the the couple's $5 million Fort Lauderdale mansion and their $2.1 million, 75-foot Lazzara boat 'The Zion'.

Even though questions have been raised over whether Guma Aguiar may, in fact, be alive, Jamie Aguiar has claimed that without access to her husband's fortune she can no longer afford to live comfortably and keep these assets.

Despite the fact that Jamie Aguiar lost out to her mother-in-law Ellen Aguiar in the legal fight to control her husband's $100 million fortune, she does co-own the house and boat legally with her husband.

That means that she needs the court appointed body that is the guarantor of Guma Aguiar's money, Northern Trust, to agree to sell and to take whatever portion legally belongs to her husband's estate.
