wow! I'm sure you haven't had time to begin any work on Blue but had to post to say that a few minutes ago he just went to his bed. That may not sound too amazing until I tell you that it's the first time EVER in almost 10 years that he hasn't been pacing around all evening! He's usually so anxious about where everyone in the family is that he just doesn't sit down or sleep until we all go to bed.

We have tried everything apart from medicating him and was told he's anxious as he feels it's his responsibility to care for the whole family and that's why he gets worse if one of us is out of the house or just in another room - he basically prefers to have his 'pack' in one place where he can be ready to protect us.

I had to post because I'm still absolutely amazed that he's gone to sleep on his bed, in the kitchen, while my husband and me are in another room and my 2 children are in yet another room! Maybe there's just 'something' that's beginning to change just because I asked and put the intention out there? Let's hope I also react so miraculously.
