I'll tell you about the Julios... One-on-one they're the nicest people anywhere. However, put them behind the wheel of a car and the strangest metamorphasis takes place and they turn into crazed lunatics bent on killing themselves and everyone else on the highway. The men there are damned near as arrogant as the French - which is pretty damned bad. |

Epic Beard Guy User ID: 1079209 United States 07/11/2012 06:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is what happens when the socialists run out of other people's money. All these Spaniards got used to not working and getting paid anyway. Margret Thatcher hit the nail right on the head when she said "The trouble with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money". Spain ran out of other people's money. Now they have to adjust to working for a living. It is unlikely that they will be any more successful at that than the Greeks have been. More likely, they will follow the Greeks down the path of begging for hand-outs. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe |

There is NO WAY the euro is going to work with so many freeloading countries (PIIGS). Spain has the longest working week in the European Union. Has a deficit on proportion of its GDP smaller than the UK France and Germany but when it goes to the markets to raise capital they have to pay over 6% interest while these countries are paying nearly 0%. Why is that I ask? Don't you realize that the markets have no loyalties towards a nation, they are making a shed load on Spain now like they did with Greece, Portugal and Ireland before. Spain has no problem to raise all the capital it wants at every auction just have to pay through the nose for it. If it really was broke and could not afford to pay the markets would not be buying any of its debt period. Funnily the Spanish banks own by corporations not by spaniards or the spanish state have a hole of 65 billion euros. Today the government announces cuts worth 65 billion euros so europe gives the banks money and the spanish government takes it from ordinary spaniards.
