I don't understand it. If loses are that huge with JP morgan, and consumer sentiment is at the lowest it's been for the year, why is the market up so high? PPT?

This is something that many don't understand. The problem is expecting the markets to act logically or rationally. They simply don't. If they were that easily predictable, anyone could make a living through trading.
