Re: The Hero's Journey
"A hero is a trail blazer, an advance scout. The hero goes into a Wilderness. The wilds, the feral realm. The only rules about that are practical ones...maintaining a vigilant focus and personal integrity...that sort of thing.
"
--------

One last thought before I call it a night. In this quote you mentioned that a hero is a trailblazer going into the wilderness. That's exactly what I'm doing in my alchemical process of creating a whole new universe for me and changing this expression. The manifestations I've created via the method I've outlined in this thread have worked. I now plan to up the ante. You may not have found a way to incorporate the oneness feelings into daily life. It appears that you found it impractical when you said "it just doesn't work" (apparently assuming that your limitations are the same as others and your truth is "right" ;) )

But deep down in this gut, I *know* there's a way. And it's not returning to the "primordial soup", because like I said..we never left. It would appear that the goal this brain has given itself would indeed be uncharted territory. :) To me, to drop back into the frustration of doing/making things that are considered the normal creative outlets, is regression and not exploring. I'm so happy that it works for so many, but it's not my story. I feel that in my bones now. This thread has shown me that.

All of the times I resisted the call and fell back into the trap (only for me) of trying be be traditionally creative, I've been frustrated, lethargic, and unmotivated. But when I dream of living the concept of creation by large scale design via the alchemy of beliefs, I get invigorated and full of joy. To me it's now obvious which way I need to go.

Re: The Hero's Journey
oh well I'll take a tiny little attempt here lol, gravity isn't a one way street, you do have forces acting upon each other in quite unusual ways. right now gravity is seen to (here we go rofl) have a 2 spin, this is actually not true in my experience it's more like a '1 1'. In a general since it falls off by '2's but always goes back to it's '1 1' source at the quantum well if you will, even in test situations. It cannot just sit at this '1 1' state you do have "overflow" but it does go back to that state! I don't know if you can visualize this or not. If you want me to go into it further let me know!

>>> Being active by being passive is to attempt to experience creating by a method as close to the unmoved mover (god) as a brain can interpret. <<<

Ceci-That's already the case. None of us actually 'do' anything. We think we do, but if we were to closer examine the contents of any given moment, we'd see that we have little to do with it. Walk across a room...consider the complexity of biomechanics that made that happen. Did you pump the blood or expand/contract the tissues? At most, you made some dim suggestion and the body did the rest. Everything is like that.

Painting or whatever is the same thing. You didn't notice before that I said it is more about process than product. The painting is not the actual doing of creating a reality: it is simply a gesture, like a conductor waving a wand. It is a way of focusing. Walking on the beach - or can be - the same thing. The reason I emphasize ‘painting’ is because it requires a bit of physicality and it is visual - that is conducive to alignment and to continuity (nurturing the process). The universe or life or whatever we choose to call it is the actual do-er. We are suggestors. Whatever we are (I doubt we’ll ever really know).

Re: The Hero's Journey
Asgardhr,

This really has gotten tiresome. I'm trying really hard to figure out why this reflection is so persistant and what it's telling me. I will continue to ponder on it, but I'm hoping it's a language/labeling gap rather than any "real" difference of opinion.

Perhaps all this is showing me is that I (via the reflection from you) have a tendency to think I'm right. That appears to be what you're projecting. It's very fine that you like creating physically. I'm happy for you. But I'm perplexed as to your seeming fixation with your method being *the* method. It's as if you think you're *right*. There are many ways up the mountain. My way is not *the* way nor is yours.

Perhaps you're used to roleplaying "teacher"??? That's a wonderful story. But my story isn't to play student or teacher. This individuation sees many paths and an infinite number of stories. No one can teach me "the way" as it appears that you're trying to. At least that's my present interpretation of this reflection.

I shall leave this forum to you. At this moment, GLP has turned into too much of a distraction for me and I feel compelled to return to listening to the voice empowering me. Though I will ponder on this "other" voice of constant "correction" and pedantic teaching to try to interpret what I am telling myself.

Thank you.

Re: The Hero's Journey
Jeez Ceci-You are stubborn. I have been saying in these latest entries that what you are doing is not really any different intrinsically than what I am doing. You say that I insist on "creating physically". I have said several times that I am using physicality as a gesture - a process, not a product - the tail end of a stroke of Intent. You keep missing the subtlety of that. I am not painting a painting. I am painting a world.

Another thing you'd best know....the more 'out there' you get with this stuff, the more important it is for you to maintain an exercised and vibrant physicality, because out-thereness will erode your organism. That is what happened to Jane Roberts: She refused to exercise.

Art is a tool. And that can come in many forms. As can exercise. Physicality does not directly create anything: It is simply where ideation touches down and says "it is so". You don't have to paint or play music, but you do have to bring your thoughts down to earth, even if it is the most subtle of gestures. Lots of outdoors is likely a priority.

What I am saying is very, very simple. All Magic comes from the convergence of two into one. Male and Female come together and a whole heckuva lot comes out of that union. The Magic I speak of here is the alignment of Mind and Body. That is the same thing as saying Spirit and Matter; Above and Below; Consciousness and Energy; Within and Without. It cannot be just Consciousness and Consciousness. This is Alchemy 101.

Re: The Hero's Journey
asgardhr,

When it REALLY hit home for me was when I was with a shaman about a year and a half ago and she said to me...."you are getting ready to leave the physical now".

That is when I knew that if I was going to stay in this body I needed to get back in my body and LIVE and create in the physical...that is what I meant several pages back when I mentioned being up in the tops of trees instead of rooted in to earth.

I am hearing from more and more people lately that they are ready to leave. Unfortunately for a lot of them it is being created unconsciously by rejecting physical creations. NOT that leaving the body is a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination....but doing it by default is not conscious creating.... and it may very well end up being the suprise of their lifetime when they see just how LITERAL the Universe really is.

I realize my shift has already happened...but I am so looking forward to being here to see it happen for the collective conscious...I would not leave now for anything!

I dreamed last night that I walked down the lane and with each step I took new flowers bloomed....i looked at the lane and it was covered with hundreds and hundreds of the most beautiful flowers! And the roses bushes had the biggest blooms I have ever seen...i am telling you it was HEAVEN on EARTH!

And today when you walk somewhere you will remember that dream, and that dream and your walk will be combined in that moment. Sometimes it is a paint brush, sometimes it is a foot.

I do think that many are getting ready to leave, whether they know it or not. There is an invisible pressure at work. I suspect it is the new dream pushing down the birth canal.

Yes. The Way is not UP. It is FORWARD. Forward is midway between UP and DOWN, and therefore it is the balance and convergence of the two. It is an obvious unobvious. The Way is right before each of us, written in our flesh. But because of the abstract nature of humans, they tend to go spinning off out-of-control into the etheric. We all do. That needs to be grounded. Dogma says we are too material. The truth is that we are too mental, and are barely in touch with the physical...we are, rather, in touch with our ideas about the physical.

>>> Perhaps you're used to roleplaying "teacher"??? That's a wonderful story. But my story isn't to play student or teacher. <<<

The alchemy here is too simple to merit a class.

Let me try again to spell out the principle [I really am a lousy instructor!]......

CREATION
----------
Each thought [or idea] must be matched with a physical gesture. I call this 'art'.

The physical gesture can be a painting, sketch, sculpture, writing, recording, something you leave somewhere, a walk on a beach, a dance, a film, a meal, clothing, etcetera.

You bring your intent into matter.

It is a very simple principle and there are endless options/avenues to choose from or come up with.

The results of what you have invoked may manifest in one minute or in one thousand years.

Re: The Hero's Journey
I am begrudgingly beginning to see what asdkskdj is saying. I conjectured pretty much the same theory too.

Yes. Matter is energy. We are on middle Earth, we are the transformers.

We are not really "here," but our I AM came here to experience (and I believe ultimately master this existence.) Our deepest most absolute place is unfathomable in its entirety, even to the Source Creator, because it is impossible for the subjective to reflect upon itself. To experience itself, it must become objective.

Good to know that, because not knowing that we are not "really" of this place, makes us slaves of it.
99.999% of what affects our reality will be undetectable by our senses. Man must learn to think for himself rather than follow blindly what he has been taught.

Re: The Hero's Journey
some of this is from a friend some of it is me:

What is ascension really? What matters is to bring it back into your individuality. Thats (((((descension)))))). Just as important!!!!!!!!

Carl Jung puts it wonderfully when he describes the Kundalini (the process of ascension) "start a world which is totally different from our world" In a sense, you are already there, Goldsplinter. You always were... You never left.

Every moment I'm filled with the undescribable. Describing how it is immediately kills it. Defining it kills it.

I've started the world which is totally different from our world... Where does it end? When is it done? I see no end.. Nothing done. Yet it is all complete, all done. I have absolutely no idea.

Not even a thousand channels or books can describe the -experience- They can just describe theory, methods, paths, tools. Nothing more.

The experience can be shared, if we are both open. Hands held, or maybe over distance. But what you experience may not be the same. Because who will there be left to tell?

Re: The Hero's Journey
maybe a book someone might enjoy:

I have just started reading a book by Jack Kornfield called 'After the Ecstasy comes the laundry" its a really worthwhile read on the reality of enlightenment. He speaks and includes my extracts from peoples lives, priests, eastern masters who many go to for wisdom and guidance and they talk about how they reached that enlightened state. However it doesnt end there like many 'metaphysical' books do, ending with the good part, he continues to highlight what happens after the enlightenment and its a real eye opener. He said basically if an Indian Master who had people coming to him every day to sit in his present was thrust into Western society with kids, wife, bills, job his enlightenment would go out of the window, his peace, he would have to start all over again. So I do feel its an ongoing process no end deal. We die while alive over and over and over again, die to the present moment.

Re: The Hero's Journey
this part reminds me of you asgardhr!:

Here is an amusing story from the book about a Zen Buddhist master and his disciple that I think is at the very heart of the book:

A disciple sent his master faithful accounts of his spiritual progress:

In the first month, the student wrote, "I feel an expansion of consciousness and experience oneness with the universe." The master glanced at the note and threw it away. The following month, this is what the student had to say: "I finally discovered that the Divine is present in all things." The master seemed disappointed.

In his third letter the disciple enthusiastically explained, "The mystery of the One and the many has been revealed to my wondering gaze." The master yawned. The next letter said, "No one is born, no one lives, and no one dies, for the self is not." The master threw up his hands in despair.

After that a month passed by, then two, then five, then a whole year. The master thought it was time to remind his disciple of his duty to keep him informed of his spiritual progress. The disciple wrote back, "I am simply living my life. And as for spiritual practice, who cares?" When the master read that he cried, "Thank God. He's got it at last." - pg 119
