Kal,

As you say...it is all your perception.

Anyway. Joseph Campbell provided alot of iteresting insights...based on where he was. Which is the belief he held of being CO CREATOR.

That is not for me anymore.

How about you Kal?

i know what you mean about the bills taking care of themselves. but i feel constrained to have to deal with this low-level things when i have a nobler work to do.

but i guess that as individuals, we can't expect to have free time to build our mind/body while people are standing still. i'll get my high-energy times when consciousness decides it. i'm perfectly ok with that. greed is evil.

haho sophia, i guess this ever-desire of project completion is the will of life. isn't it?

Then maybe it is time to let go the lower level things and trust that in the higher (noble) pursuits all will be supplied?

The old thing about standing ont he cliff and wondering if you can fly. Sure IF you jump and don't fly, you'll get smashed on the rocks below...

Imagine the thrill of jumping, and feeling the updraft and soaring?

I suspect when you jump, you'll soar.

haho trust me. if i only had the opportunity to prove my faith in the higher-levels I would jump off cliffs, walk in fire, anything.

the problem is that, the opportunities are taking so long to come....for all of us.

I do not know if are all co creators. It seems plausible. It would seem that since we create our own world of perception here, we probably created the framework for it.

I gain more understanding of you each time you post, Asgarhr

harmony is not the objective

I am the only one talking about peace

peace really means oblivion

My opiate receptors are talking

Adventure=conflict? I'm not sure If i've jumped to a conclusion with this one.

Re: The Hero's Journey
I wrote this in my journal several years ago, I was inspired to write this from a book I had read on how we know god:

There are many wys to know and converse with what you call your Father. As we open each seal from 1st to 7th the knowing transforms and the wider perspective of truth (all seals are truth for where you are) is made visable.

Your first seal response and knowing is God as Father and protector. Here you ask questions like *who am I?*(survivior), *how do I fit in?(I manage/cope)*, what is the nature of good and evil?(good is safety and comfort and evil is threat or abandonment)*

The second seal response and knowing is God the ALmighty*...*who am I*(ego)*how do I fit im?(I am a winnner)*how do i find God?* (awe and obediance)*what is the nature of good and evil?*(good is getting what I want evil is any obstacle that keeps you from getting what you want)

At the third seal is a God of peace. YOu fit in as the asilent witness, you fit in by staying centered widont_use_thisf. YOu find God thru mediatation. Good is clarity and Evil is inner turmoil.

The 4th is God the redeemer. *who am I?(the knower within me) *how do I fit in?(I understand thru intuitive guidance) How do I find God? Acceptance. Good is clarity and Evil is blindness.

The 5th is God the Creator. I am God's co creator. I fit in with intention. I find god thru inspiration. Good is higher consciousness and Evil is lower consciousness.

The sixth is the God of Miracles. I am enlightened, I fit in with Love, I find god thru grace. Good and evil are the same aspects of one cosmic force.

The 7th level is God of Pure BEING (I AM)..I am the Source, I fit in because I AM. Good an evil no longer exist.

The tenth gate!

We...at least I do...move through these as a multidimensional being.

I've been giving this some honest thought, Sophia. I have been saying that peace is the absence of conflict.

How do you define your peace?

Then we won't have a conflict. I will simply accept that that is your understanding, and you may ,if you choose, accept that I have my differing understanding.

Is it not more light to accept each other as friends rather than try to prove a point?

We all have attempted to prove something or there would never have been debate.

Re: The Hero's Journey
Kal

I have accepted your understanding from the first time I read you. All that I do not accept is that your understanding is either the only one or the "right" one.

I consider myself to be of both love and light, however this does not mean that I roll over and do not challenege the information presented by others. I am not rooted in my intellect and have eschewed the need to be right, which is connected, imo, to a lack of self worth. In this way a challenge to my viewpoint, is not viewed by me as a personal attack or any kind of comment about me personally.

Example: Someone once asked me "when did you become an arsehole?"

Had I bothered to respond it would have been; I became and arsehole the moment you decided I was one. That does not mean, like magic, I suddenly AM an arsehole, merely that you believe me to be one.

In the past I would have regaled a thread or room with a defence of myself which would have included an attack on the person calling me an arsehole. It's not my energy so I will no longer feed it.

I think its great to believe stuff as you do, with conviction and wholeHEARTedness. To me, however, at times the "heart" of your being has been missing from your posts, if not be design, then by misunderstanding or default.

As always I wish you peace on your path.

Oh you are a seductive Gillagan aren't you?! Adventure=the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful. It means Life. To live fully; peace AND discord. Everything. Consider this. It is so simple, that few - particularly pundits - ever think of. I don't mean even "be here now" either. I mean total acceptance that you are IT, now and always. Whether you stink or you are pretty.

We are each Heroes and each Nobodies. That is being utterly 'realistic'. And that is what has been waiting to happen in each of our consciousnesses...the big 'realization'. There is no Christ and no Devil other than You. And never will be.

Is that too simple?!

And so dear Freyja, I laid it out as plain as can be laid 12/19/2005 11:33 PM on Kal's thread [page 8]. See how that went right thru his blindspot without trace?!

That is what we are faced with in our world-at-large. Word cannot penetrate this kind of density...only action. Only physical manifestation can talk to such rigid abstractions. So be it.

Re: The Hero's Journey
[To Kal]

We have all 'believed' in many things since our brains first began operating. Goes with the territory. I am not arguing for any 'thing'. I am simply pointing out that everything is truth, everything is real. You don't have to separate real from not-real and good from bad and divine from not-divine. The only thing you have to do is live. That is why you are here; that is obvious in the fact of your existence. What 'to live' means, only you can decide. Not any one or any god, just little old you. And what is wrong or unlofty about that? What is unmiraculous about any speck or moment of manifest reality, no matter how vile or even mundane....really?!

We have become numb to the mundane and seek something greater, something profound. We already are. That is what I am pointing to. And it is not qualifiable, it is not 'the truth'. There is no 'the truth'....that is irrelevant if you begin to catch my drift here.

Furthermore.....Freyja and I are intertwined in ways that are beyond concept - including hers and mine. Anyone who targets her - even if she is asking for it[!] - is also targetting me. Who is 'me'? I am a bastard of this world, but I am also a creator of the days that everyone has now found staring themselves square in the face.

Just he honest about the 'path' you have chosen. That means you - all by yourself, for better or worse. Not a tradition or a universal truth. It will be very liberating my friend!

Why do you think it is so challenging for the mind to stop dividing? What is it that would make a person cling desperately to a position that offers no joy but loads of condemnation? I remember very well the not so long ago that I had these tendencies.....it was fear of death.

The intermingling of our energy has been from the beginning an explosion of self discovery for me in the most befuddling and beautiful way. Thank you for dancing with me.

Re: The Hero's Journey
-What is it that would make a person cling desperately to a position that offers no joy but loads of condemnation? -

The prospect of joy? Ironically in experiencing pain/condemnation people are simultaneously projecting an image or desire, if you will, for relief from that pain; for happiness, for joy. Their aching hope for this joy is profound, you see it in their faces and hear it in their plaintiff cries.

Even in the midst of clinging to their pain, people are paradoxically projecting an image from within of joy. Expressed as a desperate cry and "imagining" of life without pain.

In this way they always retain the notion, which is our truest essence, that the pain is not necessary or eternal. Their struggle is to find the joy within, not without.

Or not.

Must be a brain thing. Counting. Naming. Humans still haven't figured out how to integrate that function.
