Not well, it led to massive crime and violence (sound familiar) and people just kept on drinking. This 'war on drugs' is no different. Do you have any idea how many people are in prison for victim-less crimes? Do you know how much that costs us? Here is a great essay that explains how legalization is the obvious solution. I hope you take the time to read it maybe even learn something. [link to harrybrowne.org] Nothing is exactly as it seems, nor is it otherwise. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. |
MK_Ultra User ID: 19566323 United States 07/15/2012 02:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | can you imagain taking your family for a Sunday drive? 70% of the drivers would be high. But I suppose they say they dont get high on drugs and they dont drive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2122560 Your statement is a silly one, period. But driving stoned is not nearly as dangerous as people are led to believe. Here is a recent press release from an insurance company on that very point... In the study, 4AutoInsuranceQuote.org points out that the only significant effect that marijuana has on operating a motor vehicle is slower driving. double_frick User ID: 19405124 United States 07/15/2012 03:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It would start to look like this in America. It's basically the same thing as cigarettes and alcohol being legal and you have people who are using and addicted and paying the personal price of those addictions. Both usually end in death if the addiction isn't interrupted before cancer or cirrhosis of the liver occurs. I think it would be very dangerous to legalize drugs and that the cost to society would be pretty severe. Marijuana might not be the worst and many people could probably use it and still function relatively normally, but say herion or cocaine-no they will not function normally. Quoting: FierySky what a shame! i'm sorry, but whose fault is that that they would be paying the price? at least its a personal price instead of innocent victims paying the price, as often happens in america due to drugs and drug deals............ i mean, i guess this is the reason everyone hates the illuminati but...if we have population issues and crime issues, why not present people with these kinds of choices (stop using this drug or likely die) and then when they are stupid enough or weak willed enough to choose to die instead of quit...we are less a stupid or weak willed person. i mean, if we systematically got all the stupid, evil and weak-willed people to basically choose their own demise wouldn't the world be a better place? especially since no one but themselves made that choice or pulled any trigger? |
