Baby boomers, you screwed up.
X'ers, the boomers raised us to be crap.
Y's, you were raised to be twice as crappy, and I fear for you because you didn't even put up a fight. Occupy was good or bad x'ers pulling the strings of the y's just like the beatniks did to the boomer hippies.
Boomers, you started the uptick of divorce, your parents were better than that. Now people suck at relationships and we are all so divided.

Boomers, either help fix things and be part of the solution, or get the hell out of the way because you are part of the problem

OP, the worst thing the generations above you ever did to you was raise you to believe that your self esteem is the most important thing in the world. They tried to shelter and protect you too much. They did it with good intentions but I can see that it was not the best thing for you. Life is not about your self esteem...it is about doing the difficult work of growing as a human being. When you point your finger at someone else, it tells me you are "stuck" and need a little push to move along your path toward enlightenment. I challenge you to focus on helping someone else today, someone who needs your help.

As for gen"Y" - you know the Y stands for Y bother?
If I had to label gen y, it would be that they are a bunch of useless, self-absorbed, mindless consumer-based babies.
You strut around expecting the rest of the world to see how great and wonderful you are, while having done nothing to earn it. You are full of feelings of self-worth and entitlement. But when push comes to shove you rarely live up to the image you sell of yourself. I have hired and fired many a gen y, because I have no time or money to babysit a bunch of overaged babies that can;t let go of their iphones long enough to flip a burger. Gen Y's feel they are too good to work, they enter the workforce expecting to be presidents and ceo's, and god forbid you hand one of them a mop.
In fairness, I have met a few gen Y that I liked, not a damn bit of the credit for that goes to them, it all goes to their parents, who raised them properly.

Considering that baby boomers and gen xers make up a vast majority of the current population (which, by the way, presumably care about what they, themselves, are thinking), your use of the word "nobody" shows that you have a big problem thinking things through. That's something that has probably put you in your current personal dilemma which apparently has caused you to feel so much denial about your own role in creating your dilemma that you have randomly made your basic state of anxiety very public and obvious....probably a subconscious attempt to force yourself to realize that you have only yourself to blame and only you can resolve whatever your current personal issue is.
So, whatever it is...go fix it now.

Generation Y, more like Generation Whine, their all a bunch of brain dead crying pussies. They think they are special because they have been programmed to buy the latest gadget, that the previous generation actually designed and created. Their special al right special-Ed.

Turning generations against each other was the trick Mao used to ensure his hold on power.... He turned the young on the old.

Gen Y people: You owe it to yourselves to research Mao's Cultural Revolution... and what happened... as well as to listen to those who were young then and fell for it and what some of them have to say now that they are old.

The Greatest Generation (WW2 vets) were the Real Deal, comparatively.

The Boomers as a whole had some high ideals and were instrumental in getting the U.S. out of Vietnam... yet turned tail come Kent State and too many got in step with The Man, to many becoming The Man. Lived in denial as things went downhill.

Gen. X. a step yet further down, humming along with so-called, "globalization," defending it, identifying with it. Believing that the thoughts they think are their own.

Gen Y., presently bottom of the barrel. So deprived... and depraved... in so many ways. No brains. No guts. No work ethic. No respect for others so they garner none for themselves. Forces have conspired to make them that way, and that's what they are.
They've been so dummied down, so programmed for violence to fuel the, "volunteer," armed forces. To be callous. To be steps removed in terms of civility.
They've really been engineered to have so much less, in so many respects.

And those who were older allowed themselves to be hypnotized, gutless wonders and LET this happen to them by not Standing Up.

Zero Long Term Vision. On All Counts.

So all are complicit, all generations, in what is Today.

Now, Gen. Z.... Can you imagine that one?

There are exceptions to all of the above... but exceptions they are.

ALL of the above, as a whole, did not Wake Up. Sleep Walked and Sleep Walking.

So here's the Bottom Line. What I've said above, True Generalities.

BUT.... Individuals, of all generations, Do Not Have To Fall for the divide and conquer crap.
Can make a decision to Stand.
Can help each other out by sharing strengths.

A lot of remedial work needs to be done, and a lot of teaching Gen. Y from those who are older and know better and give a damn. They need all the help and hope they can be given.

Yeah, I agree, let's not turn on each other. I'm sure there are legit beefs between generations, but the larger, and more systemic problems that affect all of us lie with the financial systems of the world, and bloated, corrupt governments intent on giving themselves more and more power over everyone. The banks and the govt. are supposed to facilitate the people who produce things, and not boss everyone around and charge us interest just for the right to use their fiat money. The proper order must be restored, but it's tough when some big corporations (who would normally fight for conservative principles) are in on it because they get special privileges or simply because they're part of the centralizing globalist network.

But the awakening continues, so freedom has a chance. Definitely can't just cut benefits for boomers and others without also demanding huge cuts in govt. and some sort of reorganizing or elimination of some of the debt. We see in CA for example, via the Comprehensive Annual Fin Reports that govt. investments to the tune of billions and perhaps trillions are being protected by bureaucrats intent on protecting their lavish retirement benefits while offering up slashed benefits and higher taxes as the solution to the states budget problems. These govt. slush funds must be brought to people's attention and used as part of the solution on the state and local levels, instead of just screwing over the people. It's the public servants that should take the hit first and not the citizens they are supposed to work for.
