Saw something weird in sky last night (at Myrtle Beach).
Just came home today but last night at around 4ish in the morning I was sitting on the porch of our hotel room at the beach and saw 3 lights in the sky that looked like they could have been stars but seemed to close to the earth to be stars but too high up to be any sort of street lights, and they never moved. I first noticed one of the lights which also seemed a bit brighter than the rest of the stars but when I turned my head back to the spot there were two more lights that I didnt notice there before that and one of them kept blinking in and out, and it was also kind of bright, about as bright as the first light. And these lights were in a triangle formation. And above these lights was a small cluster of stars that were so dim I thought it was me seeing things at first and they were also blinking in and out and looked like they were forming different patterns while doing so. And these stars I saw the rest of the time I was out there so not sure about me seeing things. Also saw small flashes a couple of times out of the corner of my eye in the sky but the second time I saw it it was pretty close to the spot I first saw it in so seemed kind of slow for a plane since minutes probably passed between the flashes. Just wanted to share and Im no BSin.

No, I was considering taking pics but that would have meant waking up my mom by going into the other room to get her iphone. Sorry :(

OP where abouts are you?
It could have been Jupiter, Venus and Capella perhaps at that time. Capella wobbles about like a motherlover 'cos of atmospheric distortion!

I saw the same thing in NMB. It surprised me and I waited to see if it would happen again, but nothing else. Although I saw a couple of shooting stars but their arc was actually much lower in the sky.

Was in Myrtle Beach but weird that two planets would appear out of nowhere because like I said, two of the lights were suddenly there after I turned my head back. And one of them kept blinking in and out.the other one also blinked out and came back probably once or twice too.

Re: Saw something weird in sky last night (at Myrtle Beach).
I lived in Montana for a while and saw some stuff I had to share with everyone there.

Next time you're outside at night, and you can see the stars clearly without clouds in the way, take the time to stare in the sky for about 30 seconds. Eventually you'll notice a star or two that are moving in one direction, slowly, but definitely moving. These are not satellites, planes, helicopters, or whatever else they say. I know because I was in the Air Force, and as high up as they are they're moving way to fast. These are ufo's or ifo's (identified flying objects). I say IFO because someone knows what they are, they just won't say.

Try it and see if you see anything. Trust me, it's worth it.
