Since every living cell is alive, does each cell in our bodies have a soul or is the complete group of cells we call a human have one soul?

I have read that there are groups of living creatures that only possess one soul. For example, a school of fish or a flock of birds can be one soul made up of the school or flock combined. That is how they move together as one consciousness.

What I am thinking is that each living cell of our body is a separate living being, but we have one universal soul per human. This means that these separate individual living cells are part of one spiritual being (soul). This allows all of these cells think/feel/act as One.

Anyone have any understanding of this idea?

The image of God has a soul. The cells are not made in His image.

Well...we live in an intelligent environment...

One made of energy.
Energy is basically information.

We all have the ability to access this information field...which is probably where our stories and legends about multiple living creatures sharing a "soul" comes from.
Similar people from physical locations that couldn't POSSIBLY have shared information centuries ago DID...not by word or some alien who landed to teach them. But by the information fields...

So...there's a little bit of truth in there...
In my opinion.

Re: Since every living cell is alive, does each cell in our bodies have a soul or is the complete group of cells we call a human have one soul?
Somehow it feels right to me that each and every cell in our body is an independent, intelligent and aware being. They are organised and are part of our spiritual consciousness we call our soul.

This is why we all work together to create this amazing organisation we call a human.

I don't where this understanding comes from, but it feels right to me somehow.

Decease is when some of these independent cells rebel against their soul consciousness....

The concept of the 'soul' comes from the Bible where God breathed the spirit of life into man and he became a living soul. This was not the case with the animal kingdom. They were not made in the image of God.

Genisis 2:7

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

The idea attracts me because cells are separate living entities much like the flock of birds, so what holds these independent living cells acting as One? Only the universal consciousness of a human soul would do this...

And as I said, I can see disease, as a rejection of this organisation due to a weak spiritual consciousness. Meaing we are stressed, fearful, lost, evil....

My opinion is that we possess only one soul and it interacts with all of our cells. Commanding them what to do like a...well, mini god. Our soul is a commander of sorts for our actions or action of our bodies. Our body is after all meat sacks with mostly all water. Water acts as a great conductor of energy. Could that controlling energy be in part by the soul interacting with our body and mind?

Animals and plants don't have souls, people do...that's why we eat them but don't eat people...souls don't dwell in single cells...a human is more than just lumps of individual cells, we are held together by laminin.

Yes, I think it can. When our positive soul energy becomes weak, because we are lost in fear, hate, anger or jealousy, some of these cells refuse to comply with the soul plan and either decide to replicate as they wish (cancer) or they die due to a lack of guidance (sickness or death).

That is a very interesting pic Brief.

Do you have a link of some kind that talks more about it?

I think this is a great question.

Carl Jung believed we each have an individual soul, as well as a subconscious mind (inner child), a conscious mind (inner mother) and a supraconscious mind (inner father). Each of these parts of us also had a side that went generally unexpressed and this lack of expression could cause that part of us to become dark and unhealthy.

Jung also believed that there was a collective unconscious and this was the part of us that was too big for any one person to contain, so we could all tap into it.

Maybe humanity is just like the school of fish in your example, except just on a (slightly?) higher level.

Yes. Exactly. We know that this reality is fractals. "As above so below." So, if that is true, why couldn't this same structure also be part of our human bodies?

The laminins are a family of glycoproteins that are an integral part of the structural scaffolding in almost every tissue of an organism. They are secreted and incorporated into cell-associated extracellular matrices. Laminin is vital for the maintenance and survival of tissues.

Remember that all reality is a fractal. "As above, so below."

So:

What I am saying is that humans, which are all made up of our cells combined have One soul.

I am also saying that the same concept applies to the soul consciousness of Mother Earth. We humans are ALL a small piece of her consciousness.

At the next higher level, all of the planets orbiting the sun are pieces of the soul consciousness of Father Sun.

I am also saying that all of the stars in the galaxy are a small piece (just like our cells) of the soul consciousness of the Black Hole at the center of our Milkyway galaxy...

A soul is free will consciousness. Your cells do not have free will consciousness, they are programmed. Yes they have life, but they do not have soul.

Thanks. I really don't think that I presented my thoughts very well. People don't seem to grasp the concept I'm considering. This is a really big deal in my view. It changes the way we view life in general.

For me, this is all about fractals and the understanding that life is interconnected the same at every level of reality. The key for me is the knowledge that all life is self aware and therefore interconnected. Even at the cellular level...

So, One to many down like this:

God -> Creation

Creation -> Universes

Universe -> Galaxies

Galaxy -> Solar Systems

Solar System -> Planets

Planet -> Lives on planet

Life on Planet -> Cells

One made up of many...
