Which gave me desire, to not have seen it at all...

Indeed.

I find Christian Bale amazing as an actor. And that movie had its profound points.

If this movie did not move you in profound ways...well.

America and the movie industry has changed drastically since we were kids in the 80's and 90's.

The 'folks' don't want epic films anymore...Hollywood always has the bottom line as a key motivator when they put money behind a film...

Also...China is now a huge market for Hollywood Movies. The Chinese tend to like dumb action packed movies and hate anything with alot of dialog...

Spielberg wouldn't be able to make Empire of the Sun today because it shows China getting militarily dominated and crushed by Japan.

I know, sounds wacky and conspiratorial...but it's true.

but...You "hear" of the rape of Nanking because Japan lost the war. Atrocities and brutal behavior is the norm in any war. The victors get to brow beat the defeated and make the victors feel all warm and cozy.

You ever hear of Dresden Seer? That mass murder blood bath? Google it.

Just wanted to share the new mural on the parking garage I park at while at Market.

It is unfortunate I didn't get an image of the one before it. I thought often to do said. I didn't realize they changed them and figured I would have more time.

However, I thought the new one apt, and reminded me of a song.

good morning pi, this came up today to

KEMETIC TREE OF LIFE

The Ancient Egyptian Origin and Mystery of the Spiritual Tree

The concept and iconography of the tree as a spiritual symbol and or metaphor has been used from time immemorial throughout human history. Most people, in modern times, have become familiar with the concept of the "Tree of Life" through a system of spirituality called Kabbalah. However, the idea of having direct access to God through special knowledge, in Kabbalism, was already evident in the teachings of the Ancient Egyptians, the Christian Mystics (Gnostics), the Hindus and the Buddhists who all came long before the Kabbalists. In Ancient Egypt, however, the teaching of the Tree of Life took on a special meaning. In its earliest form, originated in Ancient Egypt, it was related to theurgical religious system developed in the Ancient Egyptian city of Anu and the tree was seen as the source of life, and it was the Goddess, as the divinity being worshipped, who extended the nectar of life itself through the tree. This idea, of a nectar of life, is also evident in the special Bodhi tree of Buddha and the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden, which is also, according to some Christian traditions, known as the tree upon which Jesus was crucified. Also, the cross of Jesus is often referred to as a Tree of Life. In present day practice, the Christmas tree was originally supposed to be a manifestation of the same idea. The star at the top of the Christmas tree was supposed to symbolize the attainment of Cosmic (Christ) Consciousness. ............

we were wondering how the hebrew`s imagined their kabbalah
 Quoting: aether

Maybe it was watching the cell video, but it seems like the tree of life is also the chromosome. Say Jesus is male nailed onto the female cross, which completes the male/female chromosome, idk...

Re: X Marks the Spot
Joseph of Arimathea

Joseph of Arimathea was, according to the Gospels, the man who donated his own prepared tomb for the burial of Jesus after Jesus's Crucifixion.

There, assisted by Nicodemus, Joseph took the body and wrapped it in the fine linen and applied myrrh and aloes (these are substances which Nicodemus had brought, according to John 19:39). Jesus' body then was conveyed to the place that had been prepared for Joseph's own body, a man-made cave hewn from rock in the garden of his house nearby
 Quoting: observation

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

notice what happens , jesus is taken to a kiva/hypogeum for the spark of life process to rejuvenate him

thus joseph of arimathea knew some interesting physics

maybe tounge
 Quoting: aether

Joseph of Arimathea

Stories of a sacred vessel dear to the Celts became entwined with the story of Christ's Last Supper and the Christian Holy Grail which inspired quests and crusades across England, Europe and the Far East.

The Glastonbury and Somerset legends involve the boy Jesus together with his Great-Uncle, Joseph of Arimathea building Glastonbury's first wattle and daub church. These legends gave rise to the continuing cult of the Virgin on the site of the present Lady Chapel and inspired the title 'Our Lady St. Mary of Glastonbury', which is still used today.

After the crucifixion of Jesus lore has it that Joseph of Arimathea (who according to the Bible donated his own tomb for Christ's interment after the Crucifixion) came to Britain, bearing the Holy Grail - the cup used by Christ at the Last Supper and later by Joseph to catch his blood at the crucifixion.

When Joseph landed on the island of Avalon, he set foot on Wearyall Hill - just below the Tor. Exhausted, he thrust his staff into the ground, and rested. By morning, his staff had taken root - leaving a strange oriental thorn bush - the sacred Glastonbury Thorn.

For safe keeping, Joseph is said to have buried the Holy Grail just below the Tor at the entrance to the Underworld. Shortly after he had done this, a spring, now known as Chalice Well, flowed forth and the water that emerged brought eternal youth to whosoever would drink it.

Intertwining the myths and legends of Glastonbury Abbey's history, it is widely believed that finding The Holy Grail Joseph is said to have hidden was years later the purpose behind the quests of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
 Quoting: observation

[link to www.glastonburyabbey.com]

if they were talking about the physics of stonehenge they had a lot to talk about and likely joseph would come to england after utilizing the physics to fire up a new belief cos it seems joseph and other possessors of ancient physics liked what jesus was telling people thus they supported jesus in his ambitions

okay we know david was not hebrew, he was royal judah and look who arranged that

God rejects Saul as king. The prophet Samuel seeks a new king from the sons of Jesse of Bethlehem. Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, "The Lord has not chosen these.” So he asked Jesse, "Are these all the sons you have?" "There is still the youngest," Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep." Samuel said, "Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives." So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was ruddy and handsome. Then the Lord said, "Rise and anoint him; this is the one." So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah

Some have theorized that the 'virgin Mary' was a highly disciplined and studied student of the Essenes.

It was also mentioned, that she was a master of 'tantric relations'...if you will.

And then postulated, that is how Jesus was 'conceived' without the need of physical sex.
