The first being, Man can not live on bread alone. I considered posting it this morning. Then decided not. It's the 'Slender Man' one and the guy at the bar. Pretty intriguing thread. This one. I know nothing of the 'Slender Man' legend. And have not looked into it. Thread: Holy Shit! Slenderman Stabbing - Foretold Rending of the Veil - The Umbranagoth? Unfortunately this involves a tragedy. As you may have heard 2 girls have been charged with attempted murder in Wisconsin. The strange twist to this story is that the girls charged claim to have did what they did for a "fictional" character called "Slenderman" Quoting: Anonymous Coward 52417248 So far we have a crime and a strange story. The story gets even stranger... Early last week I was at a local watering hole here in Austin, Texas and stepped outside to have a smoke. An older man dressed in what appeared to be a very nice vintage suit asked me if he could bum a smoke. I gave him one and he introduced himself as Eli. We shook hands and began chatting. As a student of esoteric/occult science I noticed he was wearing a ring that had the hermetic seal on it. [link to symboldictionary.net] I asked him about the ring and he asked me if I was student of alchemy and I said I had done some research on the matter. He then asked me if knew about something called a tulpa. I said I had heard of the term before and thought it was associated with the idea of a golem or a kind of sentient thought form. He congratulated me on my knowledge of the matter and then asked me if I had heard of the event happening later this month in Austin called "the raising of the 5th" ? I said no, and he then he asked me if I had heard of slenderman. I said I had read something about it on a forum once. He looked off into the distance as if he were considering something and reached into his pocket and handed me a quarter and said I should have it and that man could not live on bread alone. I thought that was very odd but simply took the quarter, said ok and put it in my pocket. He then told me that I should add the following to my research: I will try to remember as much as I can but at the time I was a little buzzed and some of it is not as clear as it was when I first heard it. That the sequence of blood moons this year and next year have created a thinning between worlds and that a group called the "the umbranagoth" were somehow connected to this slenderman meme and were planning on creating a portal between the astral and our world by way of a blood sacrifice (a rending of the veil he called it)which would then allow for more tulpas to enter in to our dimension. Something that normally could not be done except the astrological influence of these blood moons is making possible now. He was a member of something called the andolumena or anthrolumena? and were an alliance of ancient magical societies who are aware of what the umbranagoth were doing and were gearing up for some kind of recruitment to stop the umbra. The raising of the 5th is somehow connected to the recruitment activities of the lumena people. He told me all of this in the space of about a minute and I just listened somewhat stupefied. After a while my friend came outside to see where I had gone and I turned to talk to my friend for just a second or two and when I turned back around to introduce my friend to Eli he was gone. It turned out that the bar was closing and that I had been gone for about an hour and half when it seemed like I had only been out there for maybe 30 minutes. The whole thing was fucking weird as shit but I woke up the next morning with a hangover and went to work. I googled umbranagoth and few of the other things he said and couldn't find much online and after a while the whole thing began to fade until I read the story about the 2 girls in Wisconsin which freaked me out and prompted my posting of this here. just fucking bizarre. Vash User ID: 20063747 Canada 06/05/2014 07:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Love it. This is one of my favourite wikis, 'SCP Foundation'. It reminds of a more completely immersed version of 'Slenderman wiki': [link to www.scp-wiki.net] Description: SCP-204-1 is a semi-organic nano-machine colony that follows SCP-204-2 as a form of protector. SCP-204-1 spends the majority of its time in a dispersed cloud, where it is almost impossible to perceive with normal human senses. However, if SCP-204-2 is put into danger, or if SCP-204-2 commands it to, SCP-204-1 will instantaneously materialize into a solid, physical form. The exact shape and nature of this form is subjective, depending wholly upon SCP-204-2's view, state of mind, and imagination. Despite its variable nature, SCP-204-1 has a number of common traits. These include: massive strength, large size, basic intelligence, perfect obedience to SCP-204-2, and the ability to regenerate itself after consuming living flesh. SCP-204-1 is vulnerable to conventional weaponry, and can be temporarily forced back into its dispersed state if enough damage is inflicted. Quoting: SCP-204, 'The Protector'SCP-204-2 is always a child, ranging from four to fourteen years old. …. …. ~ One of my favourite intellectual exercises is to take an SCP and render the complete description into a single coherent metaphoric representation. Nuts to crack…. .... "If there is evil in this world, does it have mercy?" [link to s328.photobucket.com] <-- some artwork --:~: |

IE here attempting to expedite the release of dopamine (signalling 'priority' and therefore enabling salience of stimuli) via adrenergic activation, not to flatly 'gain dopamine' as is assumed in the mainstream but rather as a homeostatic urge. …. I never heard that before, where does that come from Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58915190 OP again, sorry changed devices. I call them charges because they feel like strong electrical impulses different than that which I normally feel. It feels as though I'm being electrocuted (for lack of a better term). Does it feel…. good? You must feel some other reason to speak those words that you have been given to speak…. do you believe the words to be true? Very much, very much! But then the charges will cease for a couple of months and I think it was all a delusion, only to have them start again. They tell me of a war in another dimension led by someone known as the false prophet and his minions. I read the Book of Revelation and what I see and feel when I feel these charges is curiously consistent with that found in Revelation.
