Re: X Marks the Spot
I have considered that Ice may represent a memetic congruity with darkness.

hmm

I have been considering in terms of 'revolutions per wavelength' as a ray of light passes over a 'centre'.

I suppose I should try to find out if infrared light melts ice faster than ultraviolet. hmm

Perhaps thusly ultraviolet light is rather like a knife to DNA. Hence, sunburn cell damage. And yet there is also a heat component. Somatically, or…. I don't think it is entirely an inflammatory response, that's for sure.

Reminds, though, of possible sources of global warming. Or 'better' yet…. of microwaving ourselves.

I should note at this time that I went without fish oil for a while. Upon consuming a good 8 grams of it last week, I noticed that familiar 'shedding' sensation for the first time in several weeks.

Fish oil being an antioxidant as well as…. I may have to look that one up actually.

I consider myself neither a victim nor a carrier of a broken heart.

Do you often lay pointed assumptions on others so early in the morning?

Or are you baiting me because you are bored?

What People Choose to Dream About: Sex and Flying

Trying to fly and having sex are the two most popular activities that lucid dreamers — people who are aware that they are dreaming, and can control their dreams to a certain extent — aim to do in their dreams, according to a new study.

The researchers surveyed about 570 people who said they've experienced lucid dreaming, and asked them what they've dreamt about, and whether they just observed their dreams unfolding or they actively aimed to change the dream. The researchers also asked the participants which activities they decided — when they were awake — to try to do in their dreams.

About 350 of the participants provided examples of the actions they planned in wakefulness to accomplish in their lucid dreams. Most often, participants wanted to try things that are impossible in waking life, such as flying, doing magic, breathing under water, talking with animals, being someone else and time travel.

But the participants also reported planning to carry out everyday activities in their dreams, such as having sex and doing sports. Lucid dreamers also reported intending to communicate with dream characters, change the scene or perspective, or carry out aggressive actions such as fighting, killing and robbery.

"Of all waking intentions, flying was the most popular one," the researchers said in their study, published in the summer issue of the American Journal of Psychology.

My denial? You won't even offer up a name...while you feel perfectly comfortable calling others out often by theirs.

I don't feel pull of jealousy. I use to, but I taught myself how to circumvent it. Proper vantage point helps and trust in oneself no matter what happens, as well.

Re: X Marks the Spot
feedback is going one way only today

way point tounge

The answers to these questions could scientists really have gained from the best of the numerous cultural descriptions of Stories of Creation - if interpreted in modern terms of "basical and principle elementary conditions; energies and motions" and not as "deities of this and that".

"In the beginning" cannot be taken as "a beginning" since the mythical and native concept of everything is cyclical, and thus no Big Bang here either. They all talks of "a latent stage of elements and their qualities" before anything firm matter and form is created. Here the stories of creation speak of eternal Primeval Waters, (CMB), and of infinite voids filled with these basical and fluctuatiing elements, where hydrogen and helium ("watery and airy elements") mostly fills up the vast void.

The next following mythical explanation deals with "the setting in motion issue". Here light "let there be light" = electromagneto-dynamics and discharges and cold and hot conditions = thermodynamics comes into the equaton. Then we have the aspect of "assembling and spreading" where both thermodynamics and electrodynamics can achieve these swirling patterns of "infolding and outfolding" formation.

And so on and etc.

For centuries we have been told by intellectually educated people who told that its all very complex - but the complexity only derives from the cultural and scientifical disattachment from Nature and its obvious patterns of formation everywhere.

Once we were told and learned only that an apple fell from the tree - now we also ponders over the natural motions of formations which creates the apple in the tree in the first place.
