Re: X Marks the Spot
nassim will like this tounge

It's amazing how much the mainstream has right, without being able to see the bigger picture. They know that the Pleiades and stars in their moving group are coming down through the galactic plane, and that they form the local chimney. They see the sun at the edge of this bubble, embedded in a wispy filament that lies along this edge. We are still missing one piece ourselves: the large scale current that drives all of it.
Look at Thornhill's picture of the galactic circuit on page 68 of "The Electric Universe". He shows currents flowing along the spiral arms, with field lines circling those arms. Which means that stars moving around those arms should tend to spiral along those field lines, drawing together in huge birkeland currents. These huge currents should cross under the arms, up through the galactic plane, above the arms, and straight down through the galactic plane. These streams of charged stars will of course blow out a tube of gas and dust (that brownian motion to radial motion) when they cross through the galactic plane. This is how the Pleaides stream forms the local chimney.
So what happens to other nearby stars (like our sun) with this huge Pleiades current passing through the area? That's easy. No matter how the sun was originally moving, it's now going to spiral around the Pleides current. So if the sun is near the edge of the chimney, we should see our Birkeland filament stretching back along the edge of the chimney (we do). If there are enough stars in the sun's stream, we behave like a Birkeland current filament. Few stars traveling with us, and it's more like the sun spiraling in a toroidal path around the Pleiades. A torus around the star's of Taurus. Yes, we're back to that. [link to www.thunderbolts.info]

It's just amazing that chinooks can actually fly. They have a bad habit of belly flopping.

It was like a movie, shook the house and they flew really low and were freakin loud

Yes, I was going to mention, seconds before I read that particular post of yours, my nose began to vibrate as I mentioned of such in Dion's thread.

It didn't last too long, but the timing was exact.
