Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf/blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree [link to en.wikipedia.org] That vid...resonated with me deeply. It is worth the watch. starting to watch now |

The baby doesn't have a conehead in that environment. But in the pressurized tunnel it does. I don't know where I'm going with this but thought to say, lol Quoting: Fancy 45736478 yes, i was noticing yesterday that it feels like we have opened a door and the resulting flood of information that poured through the doorway was to me a bit overwhelming cos it seems the door has not been open for some time thus there is a lot to come through for us to digest before we get up to date with ourselves going through the door and it`s meanings to us Was that a whoopsie? Hope not, lol, as some doors aren't meant to be opened. |

Thread: A brilliant life in darkness A brilliant life in darkness (RT documentary) Quoting: Building 7 He was born normal but at the age of 3 suddenly became blind and at 9 he lost his hearing. When he was a teenager he even considered suicide because nobody understood him and he couldn't understand anyone else. But this man was to become the first ever blind and deaf psychology professor. Now he helps others without hearing and sight, he manages his own household chores and even has an adopted son. Meet professor Suvorov. A bit of perspective... This looks interesting. I'll watch it later. I took sign language in college and the whole time the teacher never said a word. It was a quicker to pick up that way rather than him speaking. |

Is annoying, cause you feel fine in yourself, yet get weepy at the most unlikely things. My mrs finds it highly amusing that someone like me cries at silly things like an advert of a mother hugging a child or some such lol. Perhaps we are all a bit premenstrual...
