Dave Matthews Band "away from the world" symbolism
[link to swearimnotpaul.com]

This is the cover of their new CD. Ive seen the 9 boxes like this before, but cant remember what they symbolize. Dali has paintings using them. is it some sort of sacred geometry? Also the people stuck inside probably play a role into whats being said. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Re: Dave Matthews Band "away from the world" symbolism
"Away from the world" refers to the maladaptive response to social change. A maladaptive response sought by the social engineers steering the new dark ages transformation of what was previously, a culturally optimistic subject population capable of solving problems and responding to stress in a healthy way. Now we have a form of totalitarian system that is paradoxically led by a "leaderless leader": television and the pop culture. This is the Clockwork Orange society of mass produced cheerful robots at best in which all creativity has been bred out of the subject population.

A healthy response to social change has not been the dominant one for at least two generations now. Instead, the individual responds with increasing dysfunction and becomes less human. "Away from the world": To withdraw or get away from the world because social change has overwhelmed the individual to the point that it is experienced as social turbulence. Thus Dave Matthews Band serves the social engineers who are driving the change. A change designed to transform and subjugate the world at large and create the conditions for a one world system with a new surrogate, false religion [anarchical mysticism].

The staged degenerative response is first, Superficiality.
Second: Self-Segmentation into identity groups. Hence the boxes designed in a tic-tac-toe pattern suggestive of a constrained choice. Choice defined by a game that reduces humans to cheerful robots at best.

The third response to social turbulence is Dissociation [from reality into pop culture-driven fantasy].

The CD cover fitfully depicts subhumans trapped in boxes that they seem unaware of. Boxes of their own making which they freely inhabit. These boxes symbolize the social programming and turbulence that has imprisoned them. They are incapable of stepping out of the boxes. The viewer is invited to see them there, thinking himself free. But he is not. He also will reach to be "Away from the world."
