U.S. Citizens: Please explain... Why is libertarian a swearword?

Lots of neocon war mongering fascists and communist party liberals in our country. They are called Republicans and Democrats. Those who actually believe in freedom are a small minority in America.

The republicans claim that they are for small government and balanced budgets, but that is complete bullshit.

The Republicans spend every dime as much money as the democrats do, but instead of giving it to welfare, they just give it to their rich CEO buddies, and spend the rest of it on the Military war machine. And no, that is not a good thing, because they weapons companies have been scamming the people. Research the new peice of shit aircraft, the f-35 joint striker that is plagued with problems, but John McCain gave the company over a TRILLION dollars for it anyway. It is a scandal that the news wont talk about.

Both of their heros Reagan and GWB ran up the deficit as much as Obama has, and Reagan actually ran up a deficit larger than any president in history if adjusted for inflation.

It's not too late 'Republicans' to support the candidate that is trying to bring common sense back to Washington. Please read about Ron Paul, and his 30+ year career record against wasteful spending and insane foriegn policy.

He understands that citizens and small businesses just want government to leave them alone, and he wants to get out of your way, so we can back to success for small business and fiscal responsibility.

All Romney is going to do is finish what Obama started, and make sure that the banks get everything. You better hope that you dont have a mortgage on your house, because Romney is going to make sure that his billionaire banker buddies get to take it from you.

PS. Ron Paul is actually a Libertarian. He just runs under the republican party for political reasons.

The Libertarians in the United States are basically those with the intelligence to see how corrupt the Government has become, but lack the numbers to do anything about it.

We are basically represented proportionally correct, if you figure in intelligence.

96% of the population thinks they have to be on the "winning" side, like Government is some sort of High School football game. They actually spend most of their time escaping reality thru the television, the internet, and movies. Most of these idiots think that Libertarian means "Liberal", because shit, the first 5 letters are the same.

2% of the population is Government, in all its glory from post office workers, DMV clerks, and cops.

2% of the population consider themselves Free, and own guns, and drink booze, and fuck a lot, and besides getting high and watching cartoons, they consider the TV and Internet to be filled with "morans" who can't think for themselves and live their lives in fear.

ok, you've heard from a few who would identify themselves as libertarian, so i guess in fairness i can offer a counterpoint. i think i should also point out i have no affiliation or love for either major political party in the us. what is espoused by libertarians has some less than desirable attributes as well. firstly any action without some form of resraint tends to excess. fairly easy to agree to, no? the current world financial situation was for the most part caused by unrestrained greed. the libertarian model decries even the level of restraint that allowed the global ponzi scheme we currently are paying the dues for. the eventual outcome of such a model should be reasonably obvious.secondly, the libertarian dogma demands benefit, without contribution. many of our indigienous libertarianism champions just so happen to live in vast areas of our nation that have greatly benefitted from the "intrusive bloated government" they decry so loudly. the rural electrification programs, flood mediation programs, federal highways systems and the like basically brought these areas into the 20th century. the great cost of these programs was by and large paid for by folks who gained disproportionately small benefit from these programs. had libertarian policies been in effect at the time, these areas would to this day for the most part be living in the 19th century. i love freedom, but i also have enough knowledge of human nature to understand that even liberty can be overdone. allow everyone to do as they please whenever, where ever and however they like, chaos insues. it's the reason we have laws, environmental regs, etc. liberty is great, until it allows my shit to slop over into my neighbors drinking water. with civilization comes the cost of civilization. in short, the political model they desire allows robber barons to run unchecked, those without conscience to impose their waste onto others, and restrains modernity only to where it is potentially profitable in the short term. much like anarchism, libertarianism requires a society of educated cooperative polite unselfish people the likes of which humanity seems incapable of producing currently, to be viable. it's an "every man for himself" societal model. does that sound like an improvement(aside form retaining more of your income) to you?

The Libertarian philosophy can be generalized in a single statement:
"The right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins."

To me, it is the most respectful political ideology.
The only reason I can think of as to why Libertarians are slighted is ignorance.

This is stupid. Libertarians generally want you to be responsible for yourself. We want less government. We want laws to be enforced when your rights are violated. If you want to fuck yourself up with drugs, that is fine, as long as you dont violate anyone elses rights. If you read the constitution, you will be reading about libertarians. Free market did not cause the giant ponzi scheme. If you dont know what did, you are a fucking moron and I will not explain it. Libertarians are not for dismantling the government. Our government should protect us from hostile enemies and protect our rights. Our founding fathers were basically libertarians.

Did you know that The Federal Reserve is a private bank that is owned by a small select group of powerful individuals?

Mitt Romney wants to enslave you to them. All they did is print a bunch of paper and distribute the paper to banks to put into circulation.

Now, since we are not able to gve them those little peices of paper that they printed back, they want to take our houses away, they want to give huge swaths of our homeland to China, and they are going to enslave us to this bullshit debt that we didnt ask for, but got strapped on our back anyway. They want to take the retirement that you have worked your whole life for, and destroy it with inflation. That is what happens when governments use a Fiat currency. They manipulate it in ways that will always benefit the fatcats over the people who actually work for a living.

This is fucking nonsense. I refuse to submit my life to working of a debt that is so huge that our great-grandchildren will never be able to pay it off.

The Federal Reserve practically owns America after the traitor Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. TPTB in the United States, who want a two-party liberal versus conservative divide, have effectively propagated the notion that libertarian government equals Libertine anarchy.

I am not a US citizen, but how I understand it, it can be summarized by the french revolution motto:

Freedom, equality and brotherhood.

But this only represents ideas and have no basis in reality of the human nature.

So the consequences are more rules and laws and bigger government, to force everyone into a model they want for us.

The libertarians talk freedom, but it only leads to serfdom.

It is typical that when someone wants to pretend a cause and effect they name themselves by the effect (i.e. "we want liberty" = "libertarians")

But all the causes they use to get it are hidden agendas.

Making causes (not real) so that they can get a result, effect.

Cause - effect = The Hegelian Dialectic

= New rules = less freedom.

simple answer, the hook noses control our media and thus public opinion. ron paul, the most well known libertarian has threatenened to cut off all their funds and pull our troops back so they would have to start fighting their own wars.

Well, tell Mitt he's too late! We have been enslaved to the Federal Reserve since 1913 and never more so than under Obama. He's the one who has increased the National Debt by historic proportions. Check the facts on that.

I completely agree with what you wrote above, but I feel compelled to tell you something.

I despise the term 'capitalism' because it was created by Marx and is used to hide the true name of our economic system: Individualism (now crony-individualism).

There are two schools of thought: individualism or collectivism. Socialism and communism both fall under collectivism, for the collective. Sure it sounds great on paper, but when it's introduced into the real world the vampires, weasels and leeches will do everything they can to turn it into a slave system. It's a guise under the 'greater good.'

That is why individualism is the only way; at least in this realm.

I do believe henry kissinger once said it was 'unfortunate that both sides couldn't lose' when talking about the Iraq/Iran War. He was selling weapons to both sides, and if they both lost it meant more profit for him and his cronies.

But as a general rule, the more laws in a society, the more restricted you are and therefore less freedom.

I think most Americans Actually believe in freedom. However, I also think most Americans are too stupid to realize how much freedom they were blessed to have had all these years and too stupid to realize how fast that freedom is disappearing.

Americans are brainwashed by public school and mass media to believe that "Republicans and Democrats" constitute a system of "checks and balances" where interests of big business (Rep.) and workers (Dem.) are perfectly balanced.

In truth, the Rothschild control networks use the two parties to enact laws and forward agendas that bring us ever closer to a totalitarian. global state.

The two sides are used to foment argument and SHORT-CIRCUIT THE CAPACITY FOR CRITICAL THOUGHT but creating a false presentation of black/white issues.

Libertarians are "usually" people who recognize that the two-party system is a fraud and want to return to the rule of the Constitution.

Many people who call themselves libertarians are just racist morons and the mass-media LOVES to exploit this fact and paint all libertarians as extremist freaks.

This is because the mass media is controlled by the Rothchilds et all.

A true libertarian want's the ELIMINATION of central banking in the US and return to the Constitutional authorization of coining by the Congress with no fraudulent interest paid to the Rothschilds and no manipulation of the money supply.

In Europe, the Rothschilds spent decades tricking the monarchies into divesting control - through loans and fake wars. In the U.S. the Rothschilds pushed relentlessly to get themselves written into law as the "bankers" for the U.S. - which is 110% in violation of the Constitution.

Since the BULK of "federal" law in the US is written specifically to increase the Rothschilds' control over the minutia of every Americans' life, libertarians also seek to reduce the size of the federal govmnt - not by a little but a LOT.

The half measures and placations to this end that manage to make it to the House and Senate are not even tokens of this aim, but middle fingers to the proletariat from the Rothschilds.

You could call libertarians anarchist only because the only way to return to the Constitution would be to burn D.C. to the ground and start over, hanging everybody that tries to insert themselves into the process for at least 2 generations.

Only then will free people have had the time to build an incorrupt system.

If it could be done, which it can't, it would last for about 3 months before the filthy money changers got their filthy hands back into the pie.

Hence, libertarians are crazy, because the concept is not viable on planet earth while the money changers are still here.

If you want to save earth, you have to launch the money changers into the sun. Then you have to teach every child born to become enlightened by age 14 or so. Only by eliminating selfishness from BIRTH will you be able to change earth from a prison hell into a utopia.

How long do you think it took them to figure out that id the worked together, that they could find a way to play off of each other, and then re-draw the 'gerry-mandering lines" so that the same people would get re-elected over and over by people who are programed to vote for the same party over and over...
