What?

But....

They want to be independent!

How they could ask for the "help" of Madrid?

Maybe if they were independent they wouldn't be in the "n"euro zone and they would be able to print their own currency and therefore printing their own debt. Also, they wouldn't need to contribute with a part of their GDP to the central government.

Re: Crisis In Spain- Catalunya asks for spanish central government aid
while catalonia has the same amount of thief per square meter than the rest of spain and part of usa, it can't be ignored that there's an important portion of regional GDP that could be stolen by local politicians and it is actually lost in favor of state mafia.

if that portion of regional GDP stayed in catalonia, it could have lasted 2 or 3 months more xD... before going to some hidden bank account. same fate, different holder.

on the other hand i don't see how the national feelings of the people has anything to do with the herd of kleptomaniacs ruling the country/region. you may have a brazilian flag but you smell of typical spanish "paleto"

There is a media black out on what is going on in Spain.

Here's a link to a thread at another site on it.

Organisers expect as many as 25,000 people to join the demonstration in central Madrid.

Meanwhile in Mexico another media blackout:

AMazing isn't it. SOcialism has utterly, utterly wrecked this country just like just so, so many others. When will people learn.

Sadly, once socialism has taken ahold of a person's mind, they are pretty much done. No amount of reasoning will work. The followning is a training video on the only form of reasoning that socialists understand and even this treatment needs to be repeated again and again before seem to comprehend...

Yes, I know, it's always easier to have the truth gagged so you socialist filth can continue to peddle your Alice-In-Wonderland bullshit a few more hours and loot the taxpayers just that extra bit more before everyone starves.

Look, through out this Euro-Debt crisis there has been only one policy that has worked ... and that is the David Cameron Policy of "No Money, Fuck Off". It needs to be liberally applied to the Mediterranean countries URGENTLY.

What is the root cause of all of this discontent?

Folks are waking up to how they are being screwed every which way since Sunday. First civil unrest. What's next?

It would not surprise me if vigilante groups began to develop to go after the criminal element given how some enforcement groups are just as bad as the criminals and DO NOT protect the citizens.
