How does the Colorado False Flag benefit TPTB?

This is the question that I keep asking myself. I know that the end goal is the removal of guns from US civilian hands but how can what happened accomplish it? I mean, look at any of the major shootings in the last 20 years and while they are mourned as tragedies, they did not really lead to any serious changes in gun laws. Columbine, the DC Sniper, the various college shootings, Standard Gravure, the Amish School murders; none of them lead to us loosing our guns. In fact, the only thing that has happened that lead to strict laws was the assassination attempt on Reagan that lead to the Brady Bill.

So, what does this shooting offer that none of the other ones did? Holmes went HIMSELF (according to reports) and got his gun legally, passing all required checks. A few of the other ones, like the Virginia Tech shooter, may have had iffy metal issues or other things that that should have disqualified them from making a purchase, but the blame there falls on others and not the guns themselves.

Holmes, on the other hand, from all outward appearances seemed to be a normal, if shy, twenty something guy with a stable mind and a long life ahead of him. There is no reason why he should have snapped like this.

But, look at the coverage a few days after the shooting.

Notice a trend? Everyone was talking about the fact that he got the guns legally. A day or two after that the narative has become how easy he got them.

Of course, this is really not news to anyone who has any knowledge of the weapons industry. Heck, most normal people would be VERY surprised as to what you can actually get if you have a clean criminal record, time and lots of money. Don't believe me? Okay, how about this?

If you are willing to jump through a bunch of hoops and have a bunch of money you can own any kind of weapon in the world, including military grade weapons. LEGALLY.

This is what TPTB want to change. The question is how do they change it?

The answer is simple. You first have to take a seemingly normal person and have them, for no apparent reason, go bat shit crazy and kill a bunch of people with legally obtained weapons. Then you begin to spin the story so that it looks like to the normal person that just HAVING the guns caused this person to commit the violent act.

For years the left has been trying to demonize guns. Those who want to keep their rights has always been able to say "Legal gun owners are not the problem because they don't go out and commit crimes like this. Go hunt up the bad guys that have obvious mental problems and take away their illegally obtained firearms!" The gun control nazi's have not had an answer to this. Until James Holmes "went nuts".

I predict that in the next few weeks the stories will begin to imply that he was sane until he started buying the guns. They will try to spin it that the guns gave him a sort of "macho, killer insanity". Kinda like the theory about how violent video games makes kids do violent acts.
