Extremely radioactive sample from Tokyo air filter — 150 times more uranium than expected — “This is from Fukushima”
Title: Dr Chris Busby: radioactivity in apartment in central Tokyo
Uploaded by: drdrwoland
Date: July 25, 2012

* Apartment on 20th floor located 300 meters from the Tokyo Tower
* A gamma spectrum of the sample scraped from the filter
* According to the sample information at the bottom of the spectrum:
1. Taken June 15, 2012
2. Collected June 18, 2012

At 4:45 in

So what we can say about this sample is that its extremely radioactive… It contains high levels of uranium and lead-210 and cesium-137.

All substances which are inside an apartment on the 20th floor of a block 300 meters from the Tokyo Tower. Isn’t that quite something? It’s quite something.

Rhodium-102 this is a fission product from Fukushima.

There’s far too much uranium there, there’s about 3,000 becquerels per kilogram. There should be about 20.

So this is from Fukushima as well.

Which means there’s particles of Uranium floating around in Central Tokyo.

Scary stuff. Scary stuff.

We thought they would eventually have to evacuate.

What will they do..?

Great!

Chris Busby is showing the correct way to measure risk of radio-isotopes. Simple measurements of the environment with a Geiger counter may not reflect the risk of alpha emitting particles trapped in an air filter.

If one of those particles, composed of thousands or hundreds of thousands of uranium atoms, but no larger than a speck of pollen, is trapped in the lungs or anywhere inside the body, it would do constant damage to the DNA in a local quarter to half inch region of flesh, and highly likely generate a tumor in a matter of years.

More realistically, many probably did leave if it was easy financially or logistically, and they are keeping mum for the most part because keeping quiet serves the emmigrants purposes more than speaking for a number of reasons, politically and financially.

Those who could not easily leave, which is to say, most people, they did not leave.

Oh, and now in the modern world, large populations centers simply cannot and will not ever be evacuated by authorities for even the most dire reasons. This is something which one must decide personally and not expect any government to look out for one's interests by telling them to take their money and labor elsewhere. That will never happen.

I am in West Japan and the background radiation is a 1/4 of that in Tokyo.
In the video Dr Busby shows that a 1/10 of a gram of collected air filter residue doubles the background radiation!

That is a huge amount from such a small sample....

People in Tokyo are not aware of the massive radioactive build-up in car filters, air filters or drains.

Many people do their own cleaning in Japan and air con filters are usually done once a year-unless the dangers are known large numbers of Japanese will be inhaling radioactive particles.

The effect on health will be devestating.

I think it is funny when that shill with the Japanese flag tries to tell everyone that everything is fine...

It's no fucking wonder why the Japanese government is planning on moving the central government away from Tokyo.

It is pretty sad that the most populous city in the world will have to be abandoned soon because of corporate greed that refused to take security seriously...
I dont mean everything I say to be literal. I just like to throw around ideas, and play devil's advocate.

I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.

Yes, radioactive airborne particulates or dust if you will are the real and very serious problem. A problem that has not been addressed adequately by any agency involved up to this point. All the damaged reactor buildings should have been at the minimum covered in plastic to prevent particulates from being disturbed and becoming airborne. This would have at least prevented adding more to what was already released.

We need to know the exact Volume

Info is useless!

And of course there are traces from F'Shima!

do you want just 1 of those particles inside your body?
just one is all it will take.
and it will not be in a week maybe not a year...but that 1 particle will kill you!
and don't talk about background this or that....that is not a radiating particle inside your body. that is not background radiation. that is pure poison, radiation poison.
