Spain needs to stop growing sunflowers and make those lands grow food to eat. Greece needs to return to the oceans to can fish for eating. Fish what? Mediterranée and Ionian Sea have been looted.. If they kicked out all these they would be much better off, same goes for Greece with their over a million illegals from the middle east and africa, i forgot Spain has plenty from sub-saharan Africa too. Their elites effed them by bringing in these foreigners. |

Today the whole family has to toll for life just to afford a roof above their heads. |

My Spanish neighbour had to pay €350 per month in social security payments plus his taxes but is not entitled to a single cent in unemployment benefits. As someone mentioned above about working 'on the black', as it's known here, they're right where the self employed are concerned because they may have one or two day's work this week and then nothing for another 2 or 3 weeks. How can they pay €350 per month to social security, pay rent, bills and food when they may only be working the equivalent of 1 week out of 4? Simple answer is they don't! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20659845 Thanks for bringing that up AC. :puke: Greece and Spain have issues with each other as well. Spain's dumping sewage into the ocean and Greece has lost fishing due to contaminates like sewage. “It’s death by a thousand cuts,” said Enric Ballesteros of Spain’s National Research Council and coauthor of the study. Among them are overexploitation, destruction of habitat, contamination, a rise in sea surface temperatures due to climate change and more than 600 invasive species. On the southwest coast of Turkey, for example, an invasive fish from the Red Sea called the dusky spinefoot has left Gokova Bay’s rock reefs empty. [link to newswatch.nationalgeographic.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 846701 United States 07/27/2012 12:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.aljazeera.com] Quoting: pool The unemployment rate rose from 24.4 per cent recorded in the first quarter - already the highest in the industrial world - as Spain entered its third straight quarter of economic contraction. Among those aged 16 to 24, the rate rose to a huge 53.27 per cent from 52.01 per cent the previous quarter, reflecting the ongoing impact of Spain's double-dip recession following the collapse of a construction boom in 2008. The number of households in which all eligible members are unemployed rose by 9,300, reaching more than 1.73 million overall. The country is in its second recession in four years, hit hard by the bursting of the property bubble that threw millions out of work and badly affected the country's banks. Spain is always a good laugh. The government pushes so many kids to go to school and go to university that they're completely bankrupt. They have one of the highest education rates in the world and also the worst employment rates in the world. If they would teach these kids anything, they would teach them how to run a business. |
