It could all be coincidence. It could be that only a couple were killed and the rest just died mysteriously.

My friends from St. Petersburg said the water was fine there. No problems.

I didn't really feel like posting this because I didn't want to add another negative to the board but I did. I did it anyway.

Whistleblowers are courageous people and should be treated as such, not persecuted or punished in any way.

I've known employees of companies who hate any co-worker who blows the whistle . . . and it's because they are too damn cowardly to be ethical, too afraid they'll lose their job, etc.

It's one thing for someone to want to protect their livelihood, it's another to intentionally condone and cover-up serious wrong-doing, especially when it potentially could affect others' health and lives.

1 unexplained illness
1 hot tub drowning/heart attack
1 bycicle/truck accident
1 missing
1 fatally shot during a home investigation

It could happen. It is hard to believe so many died and they were coincidentally whistleblowers.

Manton heroically fought to expose the truth about the massive Gulf of Mexico oil disaster, which was caused by a BP oil platform explosion in April 2010. According to The Washington Post, Wheeler was sighted on December 29 at the New Castle County courthouse parking garage, disoriented and wearing only one shoe, as the other was ripped. Wheeler, attempting to gain access to the parking garage on foot, claimed that he wanted to warm up before paying a parking fee. (Police later determined that his car was actually in a different parking garage at the train station.) Wheeler explained to the parking garage attendant that his briefcase had been stolen and repeatedly denied being intoxicated. It is also claimed that, on December 29, Wheeler asked a pharmacist for a ride to Wilmington and "looked upset." The pharmacist offered to call a cab for Wheeler, at which point Wheeler left the store.[9]

On December 30, Wheeler was sighted wandering about various office buildings, including Mitre and DuPont locations, where he refused offers of assistance from several individuals.[9] On January 28, 2011, the Delaware state medical examiner's office reported Wheeler's cause of death as assault and "blunt force trauma" without elaboration.[10]

Though USF says cyanide is commonly used in university labs, the chemical was not part of the woman's research. A university spokesperson says they're still investigating how she got a hold of it.
Dr. Lewis-Younger says it wouldn't have been easy.
"You don't find it at the convenience store on the corner, so you would have to be someone who has access to chemicals in order to get it," she said.
Cyanide is uncommon enough that Chauhan's death is only the third in 11 years in Florida attributed to suicide by cyanide.

Grooters's family and friends will cycle the final stretch of the journey from the Pacific to the Atlantic in his honour, raising cash to support Gulf Coast families.

Just after midnight, an intruder burst into his Plantation home, bound him and his wife, and set fire to the house in the 600 block of NW 75th Terrace, according to police.
