Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6608460 This is nothing more than legalization of bribing. No one knows for sure that any money is returned. This is bullshit. Imagine if these rules applied to the NFL. What would people say if you saw a coach walk up to an official at the review booth with a was of $100 bills in thier hands? |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 20191040 ![]() 07/31/2012 05:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The funny thing is that as the Japanese coach was trying to hand money to the officials, the NBC satellite feed began to fade in and out. It went completely out for a few seconds to try and block the bribing. Very fishy. So if the rule is that money is handed to the officials and then returned if overturned, what's to stop the handing over of more money than required, i.e., a bribe, and then only the requisite amount is returned to the coach? Bribing has been facilitated by this rule. Total bullshit. |
