According to santa dharam those who crave supernatural powers in this life already had them in a past life. So perhaps you did. If you keep at it, meditate with the candle light, you could actually develop some real coo powers. Google Tratak or siddhis or mantras and you'll find out what to do to get such powers. It takes time, yes, but the powers are 100% real. Good Luck! |

It takes time, yes, but the powers are 100% real. Good Luck! Yup, I really have been meditating for 2 years non stop. I'd give you an example of one of my 'BAD' traits. Since I was about 16, I became pleasure obsessed, i loved pleasure the sexual pleasure... Porn and masturbation became a daily routine, i had thought perverse things everywhere i go, it was like i was THINKING with my dick. I went through phases of being into different things, because i would get bored of the same thing, it just got darker and darker, jeez what a mess. I managed to gain self control and i've realized that the energy you can keep from not ejaculating and conquering my natural instinct to satisfy the urge, is FAR worth the sacrafice, i became in control... Now pleasure has meaning... love, it's not wasted, not over used, taken for granted. As for super powers, sometimes I get the impression the the thoughts that pop up in my head when i am around people, aren't my own... I have the 'symptom's of an 'empath'. I would love to have super powers, then i wouldn't feel so limited. I've think that power comes from responsibility and with responsibility comes power. I really appreciate your input, i'll look into the things that you have mentioned. Thank you :) Show's what we can all do if we put our mind to it. Much love to you and this amazing forum, so grateful. ahh If I knew, would I still be living at my mums? :D I haven't learnt how to manifest/read things like that... I could say random numbers for you if you like? Wouldn't it be cheating though... :D |

Actually yes, the first time i noticed an occasional buzzing/vibration/pressure feeling at the front of my head above the middle of my eyes, this would happen on and off. As you meditate and progress the buzzing and vibrating will be more frequent, i've found.. The numbness, tingling, i get that while down still, relaxed, conscious, clear headed, not trying to fall a sleep, it starts with my hands. :D haha thanks! :D why not! :)) When I do, ill let you know x Good thing the UK has the dole so you can do these great things instead of actually having a job! So follow the string. You're so cool. Banned as usual. “It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.” |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 502821 United States 08/04/2012 03:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hello, Quoting: joduenot191 Over the course of my life, i gained a lot of negative qualities to my personality and I have been battling them since the start of meditation. I'd like to think i've made spiritual progress, but sometimes life is really hard, i work like everyone else to pay to live, i just find it difficult sometimes dealing with myself in normal living situations. I've made this thread to hopefully help better understand myself, through your questions, I tend to relate EVERYTHING i see and hear to myself, maybe we could learn something from each other? Sometimes I find it difficult to escape my fantasy world in the real world, where i'm a ninja, superhero, rockstar haha yea, i'm a weird one... I've come to the belief that; The world i'm living in matches the world i deserve, when i think the world is ugly, it seems to get uglier and darker and i end up living the nightmare... Everything lies within ME, the world seems like a reflection. I can be really bitter, cold and dark but other times i'm so full with passion, all the emotion can be seen in my eyes alone when they light up. SHIT, i wrote to much... anyway this is my perspective of things as the present moment in time. Ask away, if you want... Hello, Meditation for me has been quite a struggle, and sometimes seems like an impossible battle. When I can't maintain it for long i feel unworthy to try it. Do you feel there is a battle with your ego, and from meditating for so long, do you feel it had affected you, or at least help you be aware of it or maybe even realize what it is? Do you see things differently with the same eyes? Do you also feel there is more inner peace, and can also roll with the punches? Also do you feel it enhances empathy as well? Also do you feel there was any sort of a breakout or breakthrough moment with your meditation, where it didnt feel like you were just sitting there for a while? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 20957446 Germany 08/04/2012 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How's it going, why are you doing it? what do you want to accomplish? Keep it up :) Once I began to meditate regularly I just couldn't return to a nonmeditating life. When I don't meditate for a few days I feel drained by the world, tired, and get more easily hypnotised by it, like a puppet on a string. Meditation for me is an excellent tool: to increase life energy, (self-)awareness, consciousness, my ability to focus and to concentrate, and for inner peace and clarity of mind. When meditating, emotions and thoughts that got stuck work themselves out which is fun. |

Hello, It has helped me become more aware yes, i'd say it increased my passion, empathy yes, but if i choose to allow it, being sucked into someone elses pain doesn't help me out... battle with my ego yes... I think it's the animal me... Yes I've had breakthrough moments, but sometimes they make me think way to much afterwards and at the moment it's not good for my stability. I tend to just focus on increasing my imagination, encourage the feelings in my body while meditating in an attempt to heal. To me, you feeling unworthy says a lot (in a good way!). You've acknowledged the option, it's your choice to continue or not, now you've realized that there's one. What do you want? Sometimes I dislike giving advise, who am I to tell you what's right and what's not. I can only say from my perspective, you will have to learn to understand yourself, That's why I like to stay quiet, until i can prove my opinions I could be talking bs. Meditation helps a lot, from my eyes it encourages cleansing, it will bring your troubles out to deal with and things can get ugly. It can be to tough for some people and they end up giving up, ive thought about ending everything many times during this, but each time I pass through it, i feel brighter. It's all down to you my friend, what do you want? It takes practice and focus to eventually get results, remember it's all down to you. |

Hope that made sense.. It is good to hear accounts of those that have diligently done their inner work like this and can share their perspective and experience from it. |
