Feminism was/is about equality in all paths one may choose. I think that is something anyone denied wants. I was born with a desire for equality regardless of the shell I wear. What about equalism? Sure, maybe it's just , because the movement was supposed to be a stepping stone in the liberation of women. Maybe it can be renamed, to equalism. Whereby both women AND Men can join. to make things equal, or rather FAIR. Everything in due proportion in balance. Mutual cooperation. Not just women for and ONLY women. You claim that there should be a ''masculism'' or ''equalism'' movement to make things equal or ''fair.'' BULLSHIT! We don't need a ''masculism'' movement b/c the scales have been tipped in the favor of men since eternity! To this day, women are doing all the things that men SHOULD be doing PLUS chores/work traditionally done by women (cooking, cleaning, child-minding, etc). WE need an equality movement. If you're finding men like that perhaps you should look somewhere else. My husband and I work as a team and I'm very proud of how he's helped to care for our family. He brings home the bacon and I cook it. Why is it bad to have a traditional role? My husband wouldn't know the first thing about gardening to grow our food, sewing to keep our clothes in good shape, proper cleaning, how to cook and how to make money and supplies stretch. If the roles were reversed I would have a hard time hunting, cutting wood for heating, doing the heavy lifting necessary to keep up the remodling job on our home etc. And with that said, I do have a degree and the ability to go out and get a job if I need to so I'm not without skills.
