As an independent reporter, who meticulously verifies sources, I can firmly state that Fars and Press TV are 3,928 times as accurate as the zionist shill agency commonly known as CNN.

There is a big difference in the output when Fars at least tries to get it right, and CNN plans deceptions, sometimes MONTHS in advance.

And a question - Why would Iran lie about this? Any good reason? the general was NOT on Iranian soil.

So there you have the double whammy - no reason to lie, coupled with 3,928X the honesty.

Here's a question - why the hell would a Turkish general be in Aleppo? The fighting in Aleppo would only require the presence of a colonel AT MOST. General sounds too much, too pointless, too risky, too fishy... so I look at who reported it and it's Fars. So the eyebrows go up and will stay up until there is confirmation from a reliable source.

Syria Arrests Turkish Army General in Aleppo

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army announced that it has recently apprehended a Turkish general who commanded the terrorists trying to seize control of Aleppo.

According to an informed source in Syria, the Turkish general was arrested during the Syrian Army's clashes with the terrorists in Aleppo.

News reports said that the Turkish general has been taken to Damascus for further interrogations.

Earlier, Turkish media also reported that Syria has detained 40 Turkish military officers in different parts of the country, and said that efforts to release them have failed.

Turkey along with the US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been supporting terrorists and rebel groups in Syria and have practically brought a UN peace initiative into failure to bring President Assad's government into collapse.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards being reported across the country.

Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed, when some protest rallies turned into armed clashes.

The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad ... more ...

The story will be cnfirmed by other sources soon but i highly doubt that it will be in any western media.
It would be unlikely for western media to admit this as they would be contridicting themselves

Never heard that FSA's "command center" is in Aleppo.

Even if that is so, why did the Turkish general have to be in Aleppo. If he's involved with the FSA he can do it from the safety of Turkish soil.

Expecting more info.

Pressure on Erdogan must have risen. The turkish people are in general good and smart people. I cant imagine large parts of the population approving of the terrorising of the syrian people for much longer. The Kurds are not sitting idle in Turkey anymore. Someone has got to give now. Turkey has nothing to gain and everything to lose in there geopolitical fail move. This blunder will backfire on Turkey. Beeing the slave of the Zionists you will get dumped on sooner or later.

FSAs Syrian command and communications(advanced US equipment) central WAS in Aleppo of several reason. One being the fact that FSA has more then 80% of their "brigades"(fighting men) there.
It was surrounded and captured by SAA the other day. Time frame of this news release seems reasonable.

Aleppo was planned to be connected to Turkey by now and the current Turkey, Saudi, Qatari HQ at the boarder should been moved there. The Turkish general and a number of liaison officers were sent in advance.

Since the SAA with Russian and Iranian help new about the plan and cut the corridor(among other things) to Aleppo the USA have failed once again.

Tonight there are several emergency meetings in the Gulf States and Turkey and we can guess they are frustrated and worried.

NBC news tonight reporting the rebels don't have enough weapons and al Quada is offering to give them to the rebels who will take them because otherwise they have none.

If Russia shot down US fighter jets, the US would go apeshit. Consequentially if the US was using their generals to command rebels in Russia, the Russians would probably nuke the planet. Both sides in this Turkey/Syria conflict have been committing acts of war against each other. It's amazing how much restraint has been shown...

The architects of all this are the same ones who bought us Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.. It's plain imperial agression aimed at reconstructing the geopolitics of a region..and making lots of money in the process at the expense of civillian life and common decency.

Bush, Cheney and Blair were culpable in setting this madness rolling and the current administrations in the US, Britain and key Nato states are no better. Bring on the trials!!!

I don't believe it neither. My arguments are same as Vlad Tepes' arguments. A lower ranking officer? Maybe.
But having said that, i searched this story on some Turkish news sites. What i could find is the same thing "according to an Iranian news agency there are rumours that etc. etc."
But interestingly one of them (an important one) added another detail : "According to Maya Naser (Maya Naser is a pro-Assad reporter) there are negotiations going on to exchange 48 Iranian pilgrims with this General".
To know means to know all. Not to know all means not to know. In order to know all, it is only necessary to know a little. But, in order to know this little, it is first necessary to know pretty much.

Then I recommend you to read what I wrote again.

The Aleppo operation is the biggest of its kind ever and the success was given - USA fought. Even worst is the fact that a failure will not only delay their schemes a lot but maybe even force them to abandon current tactics. That mean they only have the overt card left. USA can't play it with current Russian and Chinese stance.
Turkey is in many ways under pressure. USA demanded a high stake to be sure that Turkey did anything in their power to establish this "beach head".

Leon Panetta and other high rank terror instigators have expressed harsh words of frustration lately to underline the correctness of this analysis.

Because Aleppo's Salah A Din neighborhood housed the largest FSA command center within Syria's boarders.

Never heard that FSA's "command center" is in Aleppo.

Even if that is so, why did the Turkish general have to be in Aleppo. If he's involved with the FSA he can do it from the safety of Turkish soil.

Expecting more info.

That's your own fault, perhaps you should follow something other than CNN and the BBC.

Let me guess : you do CNN and BBC , right ?
And you work for the 'government' , no ?
And that's no farce !

FARS news delivers info that it is inconvinient to the 'West' , you , as an "asstute" news watcher understands this 'game' , no ? No .
