Let's see if the Western Media will grab this tonight , will be revealing if they don't . no confirmation you'd think they'd name the general if it were true I am sure this is genuine. Turkey is part of NATO and thry want to look like players on the world stage. Yhry got caught and will probably be shot as spies or if they are in uniform will be charged rightly with war crimes. |

Quoting: Doru [link to english.farsnews.com] Syria Arrests Turkish Army General in Aleppo TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army announced that it has recently apprehended a Turkish general who commanded the terrorists trying to seize control of Aleppo. According to an informed source in Syria, the Turkish general was arrested during the Syrian Army's clashes with the terrorists in Aleppo. News reports said that the Turkish general has been taken to Damascus for further interrogations. Earlier, Turkish media also reported that Syria has detained 40 Turkish military officers in different parts of the country, and said that efforts to release them have failed. Turkey along with the US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been supporting terrorists and rebel groups in Syria and have practically brought a UN peace initiative into failure to bring President Assad's government into collapse. Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards being reported across the country. Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed, when some protest rallies turned into armed clashes. The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad ... more ... If you're trying to imply that this source has no credibility, which you're probably right seeing as how it comes from Iran. But seeing as how the West tailors their news media to fit a contrived narrative, I'm actually willing to give FNA as much credibility as I do the news in my own home country. |

Consequentially if the US was using their generals to command rebels in Russia, the Russians would probably nuke the planet. Both sides in this Turkey/Syria conflict have been committing acts of war against each other. It's amazing how much restraint has been shown... And a question - Why would Iran lie about this? Any good reason? the general was NOT on Iranian soil. So there you have the double whammy - no reason to lie, coupled with 3,928X the honesty. |

There are plenty of photos taken by the Syrian Arab Army showing bodies along with the ID's of foreign fighters within Syria that have emerged since the battle in Damascus, many are from Egypt Turkey and Libya, but most of them are just POS terrorist pawns. Salah A Din neighborhood in Aleppo housed the main FSA command center within Syria's boarders, if you are going to nab a foreign agent, it would be the place to do it. |
