I have loved it since I first heard Burl Ives, then came the Viet Nam War and the 1960s folk song era, I immediately was drawn to this music. Today I enjoy Mary Black, Enya and Emmylou Harris. The sadder the song the more it draws me within. |

Music box Russia, can't understand a word, but it is most assuredly a Russian folk song. Its so sad, you can tell, then with those pictures of the ice and snow and the grounded boats. |

I think some of it is folk. Where the eagle glides ascending There's an ancient river bending Down the timeless gorge of changes Where sleeplessness awaits. |

Wiley, Check it out. maybe 25 or so stations from around the world. Some better streams than others, BUT it doesn't hang. Music sound always, and it will delay the video. Classic FM TV from the UK streams like a champ, but the Russian is low bandwidth, but the sound is great. Different music, I've seen local wrestling shows with kids on Us tv, etc. I like watching and hearing music from all over etc. If you want to play/use only one widget open them up. open the manage file icon in the lower left. find the widget and drag it onto the desktop hit f12 to close all the other widgets. You will have this one or more using the same process on your desktop and it will work while you use the computer. |

What you Americans refer to as "folk Music" is little more than rawling self pity-apart from bluegrass of course which is authentic, indigenous culture; it`s lively and free of the decadent death wish of the west. |
